We booked this property for a family trip to Colorado Springs, and we were not disappointed. Everyone loved the hot tub, movie theater, comfy chairs, and multiple fireplaces. The kids especially loved the "secret rooms", which hid away a closet and laundry room.David was a great host - very responsive and accommodating, and did not hesitate to allow us to check in early on our first day.The location is great, you're just a few minutes away from restaurants, shops, and grocery stores, and within a short drive of Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods, Broadmoor Falls, and Pike's Peak Cog Railway.Having stayed in the area a few times and run several ultramarathons around the area, I can confidently say this place has one of the best views of Pike's Peak and the surrounding area, especially from the hot tub!

Amazing

We loved everything about our stay. The view of pikes peak from the hot tub was amazing. The attention to detail in the decor and design of the property is top notch. I can’t say enough good things about the atmosphere and luxury provided. Fantastic experience!

This was our 2nd time to stay at this home. It is in a great location and has beautiful views of Pikes Peak from the back patio & hot tub. Very nice house with many extra amenities. We will be back.

Truly Amazing Stay

The house and hosts were amazing! Our family of 4 stayed here for a week in July and there are so many wonderful things to say about this home and the hosts. From the stunning view of Pikes Peak off the enormous deck, the spacious kitchen, the built in movie theater room, the hot tub, steam shower, hidden closets and more we would go back in a heartbeat. The home was clean and the hosts were warm, friendly and attentive to every detail. We found a true gem in this home! Tucked away in the mountains for privacy yet close enough to every activity we enjoyed in Colorado. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Beautiful View!!

The house was amazing and had everything we needed. The location to stores and entertainment was very convenient. The view from the back porch was AMAZING!!Communication with Dave and Leslie was pleasant and easy. We can't wait to come back.

Excellent stay in the castle!

We had an amazing time staying at The Castle! The home was beautiful, with gorgeous views of Pike’s Peak. From the moment we walked in we were relaxed and in awe. We were even greeted with balloons as the hosts knew we were celebrating a milestone birthday. It was such a sweet touch and really kicked off an incredible week. I can’t recommend staying here enough and hope to come back in the future!

Unique home and Beautiful location

The house was very unique and we had fun exploring it. Each day was a new discovery. Once outside, the view of Pikes Peak was amazing. The neighborhood was quiet and wildlife was always around the next corner. Definitely would stay there again.

Don't miss this Property!

We were going to be in the area on a business trip and came out a few days early. We found the "listing picture" and we jumped at the chance! When I say "what you see is what you get", just take me word for it. Absolutely beautiful views in a very private and quiet area that has its own hiking trails just a short walk away. We took advantage of everything we could and still feel like we must have missed something......The location is perfect for quick runs to the stores (less than a mile or so) - just do your shopping first because you are not going to want to get out of the hot tub for anything less than seeing the rest of this part of Colorado: Breckenridge, Canon City/Royal Gorge, parks galore - all within 90 minute drive or less. The only problem is having to leave this property to go somewhere else....We had to spend half of our time in Colorado at the Broadmoor (business). The resort is nice but doesn't have that Old World Charm. This place is awesome and has a lot of pleasant surprises inside (great for a family) or like us - very cozy for a couple. Don't waste your time looking, just book the place if its available........Very nice Hosts are quick to help if needed. Have fun!

Fantastic view, would return!

We had a great time in this house and the surrounding area. House held 4 adults and 2 kids quite well. The hot tub was put to good use and the location was good; did not have that long of a drive for activities nearby. The herb garden outside was an unexpected bonus.

Great Mountain Retreat

We loved the castle! Everything about the house was exactly as described and the hosts could not have been friendlier or more responsive! It's the perfect distance from all of the attractions - Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, etc. -not so far to dissuade you from going or hearing "when are going to get there", yet far enough you get some quiet and seclusion. And the view is AMAZING! We highly recommend this retreat!

Wonderful Home with Wonderful Views

My family of 4 stayed at this property over the Memorial Day Weekend and couldn't have been more pleased with our visit. The home has all amenities listed in their property description and more: automatic night lights in the master Bath, a hidden closet, and hidden laundry room for a start. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had, and included great ideas of where to visit in the area when we could pull ourselves away from the magnificent deck and hot tub. We highly recommend this, Castle with a View!

Dream Vacation in the mountains!!

I almost rated the accuracy of the online listing a 1 star- because the photos and description did NOT tell of the beauty of this home and the amenities included!! We literally teared up when we walked in and saw the amazing view of Pikes Peak from inside the home. The house was absolutely stunning and had everything we needed (and then some). We did have an issue that was out of the owners hands- but we were able to easily get in touch with him- he responded immediately and took care of things to the best of his ability (the issue was with the city). We did have some challenges with the 2nd bedroom bedding not being cleaned- but there was plenty of laundry detergent and a laundry room on site- so no worries there. One of the best vacations we’ve had!

Great Stay
