From the easy and quick communication with our host to the great location with beautiful view of both the lake and mountains, this house was a great way to spend a long weekend enjoying the Colorado Springs area. The house itself is spacious with all the needed comforts of home. The walk-out finished basement with large tv area and adjoining pool table area were a great way to spend evenings with the family. The host was quick to answer any questions, and made the check in and check out process easy!

We had a wonderful stay! The host was absolutely awesome and incredibly responsive. We ran into a couple of issues on the first day, and the host replied immediately, apologized for the inconvenience, and had everything fixed the very same day. They even surprised us with some thoughtful goodies for our family, which was such a nice touch. Thanks to their care and attentiveness, our family had an amazing time. We would definitely stay here again!

Check-in was very simple. Digital keypad worked great for entering and exiting. The kitchen was so well stocked for our stay. We celebrated our anniversary and my husbands birthday so had all items to make a cake. It was the perfect size for us. Our 2 adult children came and my father-in-law. We had our own spaces to be in plus the downstairs was great to watch movies and a great pool table. We enjoyed the deck outside to eat breakfasts and dinners. We also used the cover deck where it was shaded during the day. Sherri was always responsive if we had a question. The only drawback for us was that it doesn't have air conditioning and it did get a bit warm upstairs during the day but the downstairs made up for it where it was so cool to retreat to.

This is a beautiful home with amazing mountain and lake views. Close enough to town to access all conveniences, yet secluded enough to enjoy nature. Well stocked with all the needed amenities for a comfortable stay. Gracious and helpful host.

Great Family-sized House in Perfect Location!

We had a fabulous stay here with our young adult children! There were so many great places to hike & kayak & explore nearby. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook big family meals together! There were lots of places in the house to gather & just enjoy visiting with each other. We all really enjoyed sitting out on the deck and looking at the lake & the mountains & watching for the deer and the ducks that were often at the lake. We also enjoyed playing pool together downstairs. Sherrie was very quick to answer if we had any questions. We were all very comfortable at the house & I can highly recommend it!

Great Location and Space

We enjoyed our stay - the location was perfect for all the activities we had for the week. The lake and mountain view from the patio were amazing. Teenagers enjoyed the game room and it was nice to have the large kitchen for cooking when we wanted a night in.

Beautiful mountain stay-Convenient Location

Sherrie has a beautiful, spacious home that is in a perfect location for visiting all that Colorado Springs/Manitou Springs, and even Denver has to offer. The home was cozy and comfortable and the views are incredible! Sherrie is a very responsive and communicative host! Couldn't have been a better stay!

Spacious home with beautiful views!!

We loved this house! It’s in a very convenient location to restaurants etc and the views are amazing from the patio. The downstairs Den area is a nice area to hang out. The beds are super comfy and everything was clean. The host was super responsive and helpful! We were a bit disappointed in only two things. One that the lake is just for the view, when we rented the house we assumed our 4 boys would be able to fish in the lake, but you are not allowed to use the lake at all. I would not have booked the house had I known that prior, but when we booked it was in the waiver after we were past our cancellation refund time. Only other complaint is that there is only one smart tv in the house, and it had very limited options. We actually bought a Roku stick to watch the game we wanted to see on new years and had to kind of battle our kids for the TV the entire week. Lol. If you don’t plan to watch tv then not an issue for you but we wanted some down time away and another smart tv in the other living at least would be a nice addition. Overall it was a great stay!

Beautiful

The Mountain View was amazing, the house was clean and contained everything that was needed for our stay. The communication was excellent. When I inquired about a Christmas Tree for the stay the host had one delivered and ready for us! It was a perfect 1st destination Christmas!

The location of the property was perfect for all of our outings. We enjoyed the lower level of the house most when we were there. Played lots of pool and games. Perfect for a family!!!!

Best experience!

These pictures do no justice! From the moment we walked into this house from the moment we checked out we were just more then satisfied! It had everything we needed, and wanted! And it felt like our home away from home! Being that I have 4 children from small to big I wanted to make sure we found the perfect house that we were all comfortable in! This house was definitely it! This house is huge and the kitchen is perfect with that spectacular view! I looked forward to getting up early and seeing the deers in the back yard! And the drive to everywhere we went was perfect distance not too far or too close! Im very thankful that the owners attended to our needs and had very good communication with us at all time! We plan on visiting Colorado again soon and we will be staying here for sure again! Thank you Sherrie for renting us this beautiful home! And thank you for our welcome gift!

Great crafting retreat stay

This beautiful home was perfect for my group of friends and I to have a quilting/crafting retreat. There was a lot of room for us to spread out and work on our projects, and we loved sitting around the big dining room table every night for dinner and to play cards. My favorite part of the home was the kitchen. Great layout and plenty of room for several people to cook a meal together. Great place for a group! Sherrie was very responsive whenever I had questions.

Okay stay

We were unaware that there was no air conditioning and that all the windows needed to be opened for cool off the house. Also, it says there is a hot tub- there is no hot tub. There is a small bathroom jacuzzi for one or two small people to use. 3 bedrooms= 6 people. There is an inflatable mattress for a 7th person to sleep on. Outside landscaping needed maintenance. Private lake- only good to look at. No swimming or boating or fishing. All laundry had to be washed and dried before we left, which made for a very hectic morning. I have stayed have several VRBO's, and although the location was peaceful, the mountains are beautiful and the house was spacious and clean, this unfortunately was not one of my favorite VRBO experiences.
