Very clean and inviting! Host was excellent! Would like a larger water heater so the tub could be filled fully with hot water. But otherwise everything was perfect! We loved the board games and movies and the inviting beautiful space!
We had a wonderful anniversary weekend in the caboose!! What a quaint, fun and special place to stay. (Also pet friendly) sitting in the hot tub on the patio in the snow while hearing the creekbed below was the icing on the cake.
We loved our stay at the caboose to celebrate our anniversary. The hot tub was an amazing touch in the cold, snowy weather. We loved the charm of the caboose, and we hope to return in the future!
I loved this place so much! It’s so cute and the location is perfect! The owners are so welcoming and friendly. Very dog friendly as well which is a must for me. I can’t wait to come back!
We loved it all. It was a stop on our daughters 3rd birthday road-trip through Colorado. She loves trains and she couldn’t have been anymore elated to have “her train house”. It was so cozy and comfortable. Thank you for helping bring some of our baby’s birthday dreams come true.
The caboose was very cute, and cozy. Enjoyed the small touches with pictures and the claw foot tub brought me back to my childhood. We very much enjoyed the hot tub as well. Easy check in process made it easy for us to arrive when we wanted to.
A fantastic experience. Host was extremely quick to reply and understood what I was trying to do with a surprise birthday getaway for my wife. Even let us to check in earlier to ensure that we kept everything a surprise!
The caboose was a lovely little place to stay. They paid such attention to detail. The hot tub was awesome and everything was very comfortable. The manager was very easy to contact. Overall everything was really great.
We wanted to get out of Denver for a minute and loved the idea of a caboose. Had the best night, not only at the room, but the town too. Had dinner at the CO wine bar and walked back to the house. Soaked in the jacuzzi under the stars. The shower and tub are really big and the bed super comfy. Loved our time there.
My name is Randi and my husband, Brian, is a huge train nerd. For his Christmas present, I secretly booked him a stay at the caboose and he was absolutely thrilled! The caboose is adorable and we spent some time in the hot tub outside looking up at the stars in the evening. We loved our stay and plan to come back. Communication was great with the owners and now Brian wants a caboose of his own, lol

Cute Idea
Zero communication from host. Found the place and just walked? No instructions at all. Decor was great and had everything we needed. Bed slept really good. No privacy and felt like we were camping in someone's yard while on the deck. stay outside kon

Nice caboose, misleading pictures
The caboose was a really cool place to stay! However the description of the property and the pictures are misleading. The caboose is parked about 50 ft from the owners home, just across the driveway. The hot tub is in view of the owners back deck as well, so not a lot of privacy there. There is also another site they rent right next to the caboose for RV/campers, so not a lot of privacy overall. The property is located in a busy fork in the road, so traffic noise was always present. The creek is there, but it is small, very overgrown and hard to access. The caboose was very clean and nice to stay in, but overall I thought the price was far too high for the reality of the location.
