A great place to stay

Oir stay was excellent from checking in, to exchanging monetly, to getting us a taxi it was excellent service all the way. Room was really good & food in the restaurant excellent. It was positioned in a great place we could walk everywhere easily & even had a fabulous traditional thai massage just round the corner.

Great location in Fort, excellent facilities, friendly staff. The breakfast was not included in our reservation, and it was not worth the price. Lots of options, but uneven for a four star hotel: in a tropical country, only mediocre papaya and watermelon as fruits, and industrial juices? Margherine instead of butter? And the tech side (robots for room service) is a silly gimmick.

Really nice hotel in the colonial Fort area

Nice location, close to railway station and sights, easy and quick check in. Room and bathroom okay size. Café Java with extremely slow staff.

Lovely staff and good shower.

The staff at Fairway Colombo are lovely! They always greet you with a smile and try to accommodate any requests. For me they put me in a quieter room away from street noise and allowed me late check out. Unfortunately there was some construction work going on, on the roof, which did disturb me a little, and my room smelt slightly damp when I entered as a result of what I assumed was split water on the carpet, this dried out overnight and the next day the room smelt fine. The rooms themselves are very nice and the shower is amazing! Despite the construction noise and wet carpet I enjoyed my stay at Fairway and would recommend it for a short stay.

The hotel is a nice discovery and a modern interior with a heritage exterior. Even the parking is underground that takes your car on an elevator. I enjoyed the facilities except a few downs. One is they don’t have an iron in the room, even the one they brought on request didn’t work. The housekeeping was requested to do the cleaning towards the evening but they didn’t show up. We asked for two plates and cutleries, cutleries were clean but the plates looked as if they didn’t wash them. Overall a positive stay.
