...the underground train station is just a few minutes walk and just 1 station away to the main station. A restaurant is directly below the building as well as in and around the area. We had a good night sleep and had a simple yet good enough breakfast. Definitely a good deal for any simple traveller.

The tv turned on randomly and about ten minutes later back off. Very weird. There was a bed and a bathroom. It was quite and in a great location.

You get what you pay for

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in cologne . The best parts about the hotel was it was easy to get to from station . Despite our stay being ok there were a few niggling parts . Our room was at the top of the building (76 steps) and for a couple over 50 this was a bit of a hike . The room Itself was v basic. With no added amenities . We were on the road side so was noisy. The bathroom and shower was excellent. Our host was friendly and helpful . Although i have added a few faultsthese were personal and the overall picture is iwould recommend this for a younger traveller on a budget

The hotel is in a really nice location, everything is clean and proper and you're surrounded by food options while still being calm and cozy at night. there is no airco or fans though so if your stay is in the middle of a heatwave you will be uncomfortable.

The best part about this place is that the beds were very comfortable, other than that, very old fashioned, more like a hostel , only stairs no lift, the stairs are a hazard and the host seems to want to save money on everything. Although it was a very clean place.

Fine for what it is

The person who checked me in was a little uninterested, but otherwise the stay was fine. They seemed to be having work done on the place. The bathrooms could do with a refresh, but they were adequate. The room was good. Only stayed one night and it did the job.

Does the job

Good location and reasonable quality. The hotel is being refurbished so the stairs are covered to protect the carpet and there are a couple of decorators around which is a bit disconcerting. We had two triple rooms which were right at the top of the building so several flights of stairs to climb. Our rooms had been refurbished to a good standard. However the bathroom had no hooks/rails for towels or clothes so you had to drape them on the sink/back of the toilet and there was no curtain/door in the shower so the bath mat got very wet. Over all these issues did not detract from our stay, just things to be aware of.

El hotel es sencillo, las habitaciones están limpias y lo más importante, la cama es cómoda, así que se descansa bien. Está bien ubicado, a 5 minutos de una parada de metro y a 25 minutos a pie hasta la catedral. El personal es agradable, y Vlad, el dueño, es encantador. Tuve un problema con mi reserva y me ayudó a resolverlo enseguida. Lo reservaré para mi próxima estancia en Colonia. A tener en cuenta: no tienen ascensor, así que no lo recomiendo para personas con movilidad reducida o problemas de espalda.

L’accueil du personnel a été excellent. J’avais lu de mauvais commentaires sur le petit déjeuner, mais j’ai été agréablement surpris : il était très bon ! L’hôtel ne dispose pas d’ascenseur, donc il faut monter les marches si on loge aux étages supérieurs, mais ce n’est pas un vrai inconvénient quand on le sait à l’avance. L’endroit est très propre et bien entretenu. Globalement, très satisfait de mon séjour.

Das Personal war wirklich sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer waren sauber und für mich gut ausgestattet. Die Innenstadt und der Hauptbahnhof kann man gut zu Fuß erreichen.
