Great spot for visiting city center

Location is fantastic! Service was excellent. Property is a little older. Room was of adequate size. Bed comfort was ok. Breakfast was nice. Would definitely recommend.

Three night stay in Cologne

Small room but very adequate for single person, large and comfortable bed, very clean room with small but useful bathroom. Very convenient for rail station, cathedral, shops and restaurant areas,excellent location. Good breakfast, breakfast start time, 0800 am could be earlier. Very good value for money

This location is incredible! The Cathedral is 2 blocks down the street, with the train station just past that. If you arrive by car, you can reserve parking at several lots in easy walking distance. Plenty of dining and high-end shopping just out the door. The rooms are clean and typical, breakfast was very nice and included, the staff were pleasant. Highly recommended!

This hotel was really well located on a busy high street and near the cathedral. Plenty of shops and places to eat near by, a few minutes from the main train station and so easy to walk to all the attractions. Breakfast was included, it was basic but enough just to line your stomach for a day of sightseeing. I did read a review that said the walls are thin and that is the case as you can really hear the closing of doors and the people in the neighbouring rooms. My room looked out onto the high street so it did get loud but to be honest none of that really affected me to much as I fell straight asleep most nights so it didn't ruin my sleep. I would stay in this hotel again if I was to visit Cologne again.

The hotel has nice single rooms with most of the usual hotel conveniences. However, the bedside lamp wouldn’t turn on. The hotel is in the middle of Cologne, which is very convenient, but you might get woken up by all the churches around ringing their bells for mass. Hotel breakfast, although it is buffet, didn’t have a lot of choices, so we went eating outside.

Online photos were a bit deceiving. While location was great and staff was friendly, the hotel is in desperate need of updates. Inconvenient to carry around huge room key and may be a fire hazard since you need to lock yourself in your room at night and need to use the key to exit. Shower was extremely small and while bathroom and bedding appeared to be clean, the rooms smell musty. Hotel did offer a basic breakfast.

The clerk was never at the desk so I was waiting every time I needed him. Also, the door creaked so I told the clerk and he said it was ok. Maybe not to the person trying to sleep when I keep opening the door. But it was clean and a good location and the price was fine. The breakfast was good but the hardboiled eggs were undercooked.
