located within walking distance of many Mascoutah shops & restaurants. 20 to 25 minutes from down town St Louis. Metro link is 7 miles away located at Scott Air force base, or SWIC. very close to the public pool and Scheve park.
Neighborhood is pretty quiet, very pleasant neighbors, I had lived in Mascoutah since 2010, Very nice town with many events fundraisers, 5k walks, all kinds of things going on through out the year, Nice big park for all to enjoy even your fur babies, nice little dog park available.
Ways around the area:
metro bus stop is two blocks away located on 6th st, or Uber services is available in the area, might have a little longer wait then in the big cities.

Quiet & quaint

The house is very homey and well maintained. We loved the quiet family oriented neighborhood with the ease of getting to McKendree. Susan was quick to respond and check in super easy!

Wonderful experience at the Cozy Corner

The Cozy Corner is a true gem! The home is super comfortable, exceptionally clean, and located in a quiet neighborhood. The house is stocked with everything you could need and the property manager, Susan, was very responsive. The house is down the street from a school and park which provided a nice place to walk the dogs. This home was just what we needed to recharge during a long, cross-country drive.

Convenient location

My son stayed for a few days and said it was very nice and was conveniently located. He and his dog enjoyed having plenty of space and walking distance to dog park and city park. Host was very prompt with answering questions. Definitely recommend if you need a nice and affordable place to stay.

Cozy corner

Kitchen has most anything you need. Nice neighborhood, walking distance to restaurants and post office. Easy 10 minute drive to Scott AFB. Owner very responsive.

I really appreciate the work that was put into this place

If you see the photos you can tell exactly what you're going to get here. It's not a 5-star resort, but the owners have clearly poured a ton of time and effort into transforming this little old house in a functional, convenient place to stay that's just filled with character. I appreciated all the amenities, the wifi worked flawlessly, and the house was well-stocked with everything we might have needed. Thank you so much for letting us stay there!

Little house with a lot of charm

We needed a place to stay with all our furbabies and the Cozy Corner was perfect for us. It was 5 minutes from our house that we are selling. The home was small but it worked for our needs, had a living area, sleeping area and great internet. Washer and dryer worked great. We could walk across the street food or drive a couple minutes down the road. Close to park, dog park, and any amenities you could need.

Nice play to stay for a night

We came to the St Louis area for one night, my husband, myself and another couple. We had a little issue finding the house with the link from VRBO but when we googled the address, we found it just fine. It was about 30min outside the city, which was perfect for our needs. The town is quiet and everything was pretty much as advertised. The dryer kept beeping and we ended up unplugging it until we left but I suspect that's because it was ended mid-cycle. The wifi worked well once we reset the router and although tiny, we had enough space for four people. Thanks for the quick communication, as we booked very last minute!

Met Our Needs

We needed pet friendly accommodations and this was the closest to the people we were visiting. The outside appearance of the property shows years of neglect and the floors inside sag when walked on. The carpets were clean and didn't smell bad but I wouldn't want to walk barefoot on them because they were very old shag carpets and didn't look "inviting". The window seals outside were either dry rotted or had extensive termite damage and window screens were missing. The furnace was extremely loud and ran all the time when set at 70. Also making it hard to fall asleep were the lights on the smoke detectors flashing brightly every few minutes. The ceiling in the bedroom had lots of ugly stains and wasn't something you want to look at while falling asleep. Overall this property has seen its better years. There is a mechanic shop across the street that gets noisy during the day and someone was ripping up concrete all day long across the street which made our dog scared. I'm giving an overall 4 only because it is pet friendly and there needs to be more pet friendly VRBOs
