Relax with the whole family in a 3 bedroom cottage on a stunning oceanside property. Situated within a sheltered cove, the property includes a private sandy beach, beautiful gardens and gazebo. The cottage has a spacious patio to sit and enjoy the outdoors, watch the wildlife, stunning sunrises and sunsets, or wander down the beach and take a dip in the ocean. If you are looking to 'get away from it all' you can't find a better place to do it!

Please note that we are in Cole Harbour Village in Guysborough County, not Cole Harbour near Halifax.

When my husband and I arrived at the cottage, we both gave sigh of relief as the cottage and property was better than anticipated. The grounds are well kept and there are numerous bunnies and a few porcupines that visit the property on a daily basis. Just a short walk down a pathway, you will find a lovely beach to decompress! We saw a few seals just off the shore who were curious about us and our pooch. The cottage/house was spotless and charming. It offers a full sized fridge (bonus) and is well stocked with utensils and dishes and the necessities for an enjoyable stay. Just remember to stock up on groceries and ‘refreshments’ before you make your way to the cottage. We will definitely return! Great place for three or four family groups to stay as the cottages are close to each other but with enough space to chillax. Thank you for sharing your home with us! Cheers, Doug and Liz

Excellent!!

Lovely cottage just minute from the beach. Ideal for families with small children. Clean,cozy and well equipped with everything you need. Host is friendly and resposive ensuring a smooth stay. It went beyond our expectation.

Great getaway

Great place to stay with the family for a weekend away! We enjoyed walking down the grassy path to the beautiful beach and to the lookout. The property was kept in impeccable condition and the house was very clean and had everything we needed!

Magical

We could not believe how beautiful the property was. It far succeeded our expectations 100%. We found the Seabeach Chateau very comfortable and the views from the circular spaces upstairs and down were spectacular. Our dog loved to watch the hares feeding on the lawn through those windows also. We will be back again but next time more prepared to stay on the property all week. Thank you

Unique Home on Secluded Property

If you are looking to get away from it all, THIS is the property for you. Seriously, it is the most gorgeous location -- about 2 km from the next nearest house and has beautiful views of the ocean. This cottage is one of a collection of four homes on the property. It is next to two other houses and the final cottage is down by the water. No one was in the two cottages next to us so we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves (minus some workers renovating one of the cottages). Shared amenities include a laundry room in the back of one cabin, a beach, grill, trails and a gazebo with lawn games. The on-site property manager was very nice and responsive. This particular cottage had a huge bedroom in the turret and a small balcony. It was a very cool room. If you are looking for something that feels brand new, be aware that some parts of the cottage feel older (i.e. doors that didn't quite close right) while other aspects (such as the bathrooms) seemed very modern. Overall, we weren't there for the indoor space as much as the outdoor space, and it did not disappoint. I ate my breakfast watching a bald eagle in a tree one day and a bunny enjoying the beautifully landscaped flowers on the next day, HIGHLY recommended for anyone who wants to check out of the rat race for a few days.

Out of the way stay.....nice view and a beach a few steps away....very quite and maintained. Cottage was well stocked...but with no grocery store near by make sure you bring food....other than that its all there.

The house was confortable and well supplied. The property is quite remote but if you are looking for peace and quiet it’s watch you need.
