We were welcomed by friendly staff in a beautiful medieval house. The restaurant and breakfast room are located in this ‘castle.’ The rooms are located across the street in a new-fangled room complex. The rooms are modern and functionally furnished. Unfortunately, there was a lack of maintenance of the rooms; the shower floor and chairs are damaged. All this should not spoil the fun, but that is not what you expect from a (Fletcher) hotel. Above all, the rooms are very warm, so the air conditioning is sorely missed. I recommend that Fletcher addresses both ‘shortcomings.’

Hotel looks lovely from outside. You walk straight in to a bar / cafe area which is also reception. Bedrooms are in a separate building around 100m away, not great when the weather is bad, bedrooms are ok. Open plan style with a bathroom in it & a separate small toilet. Went for breakfast an hour before it ended and the food choice was very limited & most items had been replenished, so options were poor.

Redelijke schone kamer, lag wel wat stof op de grond. Nadeel: er was geen airco, het was erg warm op de kamer. Kartonnen beker daar bleef je tandenborstel niet in staan.

De suite die wij geboekt hadden, mag geen suite heten. Klein en geen zitje aanwezig waar je ff kan relaxen. Geen slippers, geen standaard koelkast, geen haarphone, geen scheerspiegel etc, etc aanwezig. Daarnaast is de kamer erg gehorig. Wij zijn beter gewend voor de betaalde prijs. Personeel is verder vriendelijk en het ontbijt is vrij beperkt in keuze, maar wel van goede kwaliteit. Al met al hebben wij best genoten, maar vinden de omschrijving van de kamer "suite" de plank totaal misslaan voor het bedrag wat is betaald.

Mooie locatie

Hele mooie en aparte locatie in Coevorden. Leuk terras bij het kasteel maar oom een heerlijke terras bij de slaap locatie die gevestigd is in een verbouwd graan pakhuis die dus direct aan het water ligt. Kamer was ruim genoeg en bed sliep lekker.

gewoon een goed hotel

Als je aankomt bij het hotel denk je, wauw! Ontvangst ging vlot, maar dan blijkt dat het hotel ongeveer 100 meter buiten het kasteel is. De ruimte dat is niet bijzonder. De kamer is fraai en netjes. De bad is uitstekend en wij hebben daar goed gebruik van gemaakt, enkel was er geen badschuim oid, enkel haarshampoo. Ontbijt hebben wij in het centrum van Coevorden genoten. Doen wij vaker tijdens verblijf in een hotel. Kortom: gewoon edn goed hotel, maar niet speciaal.

Kamer was schoon en ruim. Mooi qua inrichting. Inchecken is aan de overzijde in het hotel. Dit kan beter worden aangegeven vanaf buiten. Kasteel heeft buiten een terras waar we ondanks de warme avond niet zijn gaan zitten. Er was geen enkele verlichting. Verder alles prima en vriendelijk personeel

Mooi hotel in de binnenstad

Hotel is andere kant van de straat dan inchecken in het kasteel. Dit weet je wel pas na je eerst je bagage hebt zitten uithalen. Er is parking aanwezig, echter niet genoeg om een vol hotel te voorzien van parking.
