Faith and Ed are wonderful hosts and simply put, kind people. They were full of suggestions and took a vested interest in making the stay pleasurable. The car allows guests to explore the small island at their leisure. If you are a diver, make sure to prebook your dives as the island only has one dive shop post-COVID.

The Forbes family are by far the best hosts we’ve had in all our years of renting property. The property is well stocked with all the necessities and when additional items were needed or requested the answer was always “yes” and provided promptly. The welcome they provided is so sincere that we felt like we were staying with friends or family. Grand Turk was the perfect fit for us as the majority of the island does not have the tourist trap feel. The locals are very warm and friendly. Many great places to eat. Our personal favorite was Sunshine’s (named after the owner who is truly a ray of sunshine). The use of a vehicle included in the rental is a huge cost savings. Also, make sure to reserve a snorkel trip with the owner as this is the best outing on the island.

Absolutely perfect!! We are light travelers and love ease. This was stay was perfect. We had EVERYTHING we needed. The Hosts were beyond wonderful. Cannot say enough good things. The golf cart was a HUGE plus :)

Book here for the Sport of it…

Faith Anne and Ed are just amazing people. The upstairs is a beautiful one bedroom suite that we were rarely in but when we were it was fabulous. The golf cart got us all over the island. We saw so many beaches, we enjoyed the lighthouse and saw the flamingos. All the experiences we were given insider knowledge from Faith Anne and Ed. They also told us about a breakfast place that was wonderful, and with the golf cart easy to get to. Sport (their dog) greets you in the morning and makes sure you are safe inside at night. Honestly all the locations we have stayed in around the world, this is the top VRBO for us. See you guys again soon!

Beware of dog, because he may want to be petted every time you come home.

One of the best vacations I've ever had!

I had a GREAT stay at Ed and Faith's property! From the moment I booked my reservation online they were extremely helpful and informative. They answered questions that had and provided information about travel arrangements and events on the island during my stay. They gave a lot of useful information as far as where to shop, restaurants that were available, the days and times that ships are in port and when the port would be open. They definitely made my stay very welcoming, convenient, and enjoyable! I truly appreciate the time and dedication that they gave in making my trip one of the best yet!

The accommodations were delightful. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The convenience of stepping onto the patio and seeing the beach was truly wonderful. Thank you so much for providing the golf cart; it made everything significantly easier, and the extra scuba gear you provided made exploring a breeze. I was overjoyed to meet the community; it was far more enriching than a simple day trip. I had the pleasure of meeting some people, exploring some locations, and truly making it my own. Lovely location even lovelier hosts!

Faith Anne and Ed are wonderful hosts, their place is a small quaint venue right by the sea. The Golf cart that is provided is amazing and so handy for getting around. The food on the island is great, just make sure you check opening hours before you go as we learnt that the hard way! All in a lovely stay.

Exclusive Piece of Paradise

Mrs. Faith Ann and Mr. Ed made our stay enjoyable! The location is located across from the beach with easy access! They also provided chairs and beach items for us. Faith Ann introduced us to Marshall, whom I referred to as our tour guide. He showed us around the island. We also went ATV riding with him! It was a blast! We got to see the beautiful island while going off roading. Two cruise ships came in and we were able to go to Margaritaville on our last full day! Overall the stay was very needed and refreshing!

Paradise

Our scuba visit to Grand Turk delivered more than just excellent diving. Our second story apartment gave us views and a cozy place to stay. We had everything we needed ….a romantic mosquito netted bed, AC, a TV we never used, kitchenette, beach chairs and beach access about 300 yards away. Our golf cart helped is scoot all over this wonderful island. In talking with other divers we realized we had the best place to stay on the island! Ed and Faithanne take great pride in their rental❤️

Tranquil vacation

For those seeking a serene beach retreat, Ed and Faith-Anne's accommodation stands out as an unparalleled choice. The cozy upstairs studio apartment provided everything we needed, and the complementary golf cart added a delightful touch, especially since we preferred dining out. Each day, we savored the tranquility of the secluded beach, just a mere 100 meters from our doorstep, where we could easily set up the provided folding chairs beneath the shade of a nearby tree. Stretching for almost a mile in both directions, the beach remained blissfully unpopulated, offering us a private slice of paradise. The island's minimal traffic further enhanced our peaceful experience, and even the occasional barking dogs at night failed to disrupt our contentment.

Enjoyed our stay

We really enjoyed our stay in Grand Turk. The property was clean, well maintained and was in a perfect location for our dive vacation. We really appreciated the use of the golf cart and took advantage of it to explore the island. Loved hanging out with Sport on the balcony, enjoying the great view!

Excellent Stay

I can't say enough positive things about our experience staying at this VRBO. First it is a great location and is directly across from a beach that rarely has other people on it. Faith and Ed were the best hosts. They were knowledgeable about the island and gave great recommendations. We also found it so enjoyable just chatting with them. Their dog sport is so friendly and was a nice addition as we missed our dog at home. The fact that they provided a golf cart made it less stressful when we arrived. As a location Grand Turk is amazing because there are these beautiful beaches and very few people on them. Just snorkeling off shore I saw a bunch of fish, a few sea turtles and an octopus! Would definitely return.

Nice secluded island

What a great experience we had! This island was so unique and we had a great time. Faith Ann and Ed were so welcoming and helpful with everything that we needed. Supplying a golf cart for us was a great addition to our already amazing stay. There’s a beautiful beach just a couple steps out from the apartment where you will see about two people every couple of hours. The apartment is so cute and cozy and perfectly matches the esthetic of the beach right outside your doors. Come prepared for the “sounds of the island” you’ll be hearing every night. Between the donkeys, dogs and sheep— you may want to bring some earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back!

A vacation to remember!

My wife and I were looking for a warm, relaxing vacation, with great swimming, away from the craziness of NYC, and we found this wonderful place, which more than met our needs! Ed and Faith Anne are great hosts, (and wonderful people!), who also own and operate 'Exclusive Escapes ', a small fleet of 'cozier, more civilized, snorkeling cruise boats, as opposed to the larger group boats run by the cruise ship companies. This is an absolute 'must do'! The dive along the reef was amazing, like swimming in an aquarium tank! Then the second part was the trip to the other side of the island to visit another island where friendly Atlantic Ray's visit! Along the way we stopped to allow one of the crew to dive for live conch (he found 7!). Later, after arriving at the next island, he demonstrated the conch prep to all and then sliced it up into a fresh conch cerviche salad! Very tasty.This was served in individual dishes for all to eat:) The location of Ed and Faith Anne's property is right across the street from one of the most spectacular swimming beaches you will ever enjoy. I have worked all around the world, including many places in the Caribbean, Bermuda Malaysia, Singapore, among others, and this beach, usually having no one else swimming, is in the top two. Enjoy!! Also, Ed and Faith Anne also give you exclusive use of the their golf cart! Alot of fun and Huge help! What makes this island more unique then Caicos Islands are the abundance of free roaming wildlife: alot of donkeys, horses, some cows, dogs (all friendly, tame), and some roosters, amongst others. This is Definitely a unique , fun, setting and sometimes on the noisy side but you get used to it (the donkeys like to be fed carrots:) This will appeal more to the adventurous type than the sterile, resort, room service crowd.

Absolutely amazing

This was our first trip to Grand Turk and it did not disappoint! Captain Ed and Faith were absolutely incredible hosts and we cannot forget to mention Sport, their awesome dog too. The apartment was perfect for a quiet and tranquil stay. We loved driving the golf cart around town exploring and diving with Grand Turk Diving and the whale trip with Salt Cay Divers. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to snorkel with the whales, but it was later in the season and that gives us another reason to try again. FYI… The excursions through Captain Ed and Faith are incredible however we didn’t book early enough, so do so earlier rather than later. They too had whale watching and I wish we could have went with them. We cannot wait to return here and to this same apartment!!! It was perfect!!
