"Fabulous property. Great views of the surrounding area and out to sea. The house is located on a high position. Its a large well equiped house, with good privacy if you need it. I loved the backyard view of the rainforest.Easy drive to local beach and shops. Great comunications with the owner. Would book again."

"The air con wasn't working, and I approached the staff and was told that they can't do anything. No staff was available to even look at the reason why the air con wasn't working. It could have simply been a tripped circuit breaker, but no one was even available to check. I had driven the whole day and was extremely tired by the time I reached the property and could not sleep the whole night. I woke up terribly tired after whatever sleep I could get during the night. Otherwise, a great place to stay. Location was awesome. Just had a lot of cobwebs on the furniture under the balcony. If these minor issues are fixed, I would highly recommend this place for newlywed couples. This could be just my personal experience, but this is the only way I can share it."

"Our day was amazing just what we needed, the perfect stress free long weekend. My 17-year-old daughter enjoyed many Zen moments on the deck and stargazing by the fire pit. Perfectly situated in the quiet part of Catherine Hill Bay close to the beach for long walks and swims in the lusciously clear waters. The house has plenty of room for everyone and our little old luxuriated in the huge backyard. Can’t wait to go back I think we’ll be regulars to this beautiful part of the world.Our host Jo provided great advice and recommendations. She made everything so easy. Couldn’t ask for more Bliss."

What did we like about the property?Nice bedrooms, ample cutlery, pots and pans, spacious, large dining table, lovely location, well maintained, nice neighbourhood, walkable distance to caves beach.Q2. What ywe didn’t like about the property?BBQ set was very old, we had multiple electric shocks from the faulty auto start switch. Burner control knobs were malfunctioning, we could not switch off individual knobs resulting in burnt food. BBQ area had no light system, had to lift the heavy system down to the alfresco area for cooking. That area didn’t have ample space, so the plan to gather around the BBQ for a family time was spoiled completely. Open fire BBQ set was completely rusty and entirely useless as well. The common bathroom on ground floor is poorly designed with 2 entry doors, resulting few embarrassing moments. The garage converted into a TT room / common area-2 had no indoor entry to dining room, only via the common toilet, and high was very annoying. The TT table is broken and the net was broken too. Tiny cloths line hanger, considering large groups were visiting beach frequently.Q3. Sum up our stay.It’s a nice place to stay, the management team should amend the above rectifications to make it even better. We pay premium cost, so expect premium experience as well."

"Great location, views and lots of space, great big garden for dogs and family cricket. However, house is a bit old and dirty, carpets terrible lots of stains, bbq did not work. The checkin /checkout process was easy and Lakeshore were helpful however some details were also a bit outdated such as incorrect entry code and wifi password. Otherwise, my family really enjoyed our stay in Caves Beach. "
