「Atenas is right near the beach so food and activities are all super walkable. All my staff interactions (check in, check out, and buying a late night bottle of water) were easy and polite despite the language barrier. I got a private room and bath — which were clean and in good condition, it was honestly one of the best showers I’ve ever had at a backpacker hostel. Only issue and it was minor, was the internet was a bit spotty. Overall this was excellent for the price!」

「Elizabeth and her team, from check-in to cleaning to breakfast are fantastic. They worked hard to make me feel welcome. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast is excellent . Elizabeth does a great job. The location is fantastic - just a street or so back from the malecon . In a perfect location in Barranco and also walkable to Miraflores. The only thing , and nothing to do with the hotel , is to be a bit careful late , late evening if walking. I'll be back . 」

「Host was very very friendly. She went out of the way to come with me at mid night to get dinner for our family. Also my family member was unwell. She accompanied me to the doctor and ensured we get proper care. She also provided good breakfast. Very safe and friendly place. Room may not be up to the standards but other conveniences in new country provided by host out weighs it. 」

「Miskiwasi was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very clean and smelt amazing. The food served at the hotel was lovely and very delicious. A nice variety for breakfast and dinner.
