"We had a wonderful stay here. Very close to everything that's happening in Manayunk. The ambiance of the property is top shelf,the breakfast is outstanding,and the host is a wealth of information about the city. "

"This house is an architectural treasure and it was kind of incredible to be able to stay in it. The beds were clean and comfortable with nice linens, which is super important. My two college aged sons stayed with me to attend the third sibling’s parent weekend. We each had our own sleeping space- my oldest and I each had a bed and my younger son slept on a pull out couch which he found comfortable. We found it made up with linens and a comforter waiting nearby- thoughtful touches that made it easy for us to fall into bed at night. One night my oldest son cooked a simple dinner for the four of us and two friends from my youngest child’s college whose parents weren’t around. He bought the ingredients at the local farmers market a 15-20 min walk away. The kitchen had what we needed and the dining space was lovely. We also enjoyed having coffee on one of the patios off of the bedrooms. Every morning I woke to birdsong and light filtering through the trees. It was quiet, peaceful and inspiring. "

"Our bed was very comfortable, the shower pressure was amazing, room was cleaned every day but the star of the show was the staff- whether they were escorting us to the interior stairs so we could get some exercise in or making sure we had everything we needed they were always friendly and helpful even while they were handling large wedding events "

"Mark was great - very responsive. Place was private, colorful and very close to Main St. Manayunk. Only drawback was tough street parking - although we ended up finding parking fairly quickly each day. Overall - very nice spot."
