Giving five stars because overall the caboose is so much fun and the property is as well. The caboose is decorated very nicely and it’s basically a very cute tiny home. I thought it made good use of space, and we very much enjoyed the deck outside which is where we ate all of our meals. I absolutely love Buffalo and was thrilled to see them each morning. You pretty much only saw them in the morning time when they headed in that general direction for the breakfast. There are also a lot more animals on the property that you can visit and feed including miniature horses, goats, turkey, bunnies etc. there is a playground on the property although make sure you put on your walking shoes as it is a fairly steep hike LOL. We did visit their little store and bought several things. Be aware that no one is wearing a mask if that concerns you. I have three complaints on the interior. The biggest one was the bed in the master. The sheets are polyester which I understand people buy because they dry very quickly. But they’re pretty uncomfortable. There was also no blanket, just the comforter, which I have no idea if they wash or not. The second issue was the upstairs loft bed. It was a good 10 or 15° hotter up there than it was downstairs and basically it was unusable even though it was only about 80° outside and we had the air conditioning on inside. There was a fan up there but it was not working. I’m not sure if a fan would have actually solved it though. Last concern was the dishes. When you leave, you wash your own dishes by hand. Given the state of the world right now, I just wish there had been a dishwasher or a way to sanitize them better. We ended up re-washing the dishes before we use them. All in all it was a fantastic experience though and I would recommend!
