"Kirk was flexible with a reasonable departure time amendment (at no extra cost)! So, we had a place to stay until time to visit the nearest church. The place was impeccably decorated with rustic cozy architecture! Loved the kitchen area and gas log fire as an optional heat source. The barn doors on the bedrooms was another great idea to add to the rustic vibe. Beautifully situated in a mountainous country setting yet convenient to lots of great restaurants and the Blue Ridge Mall."

"Everything was perfect, aside from having the neighbor way too close for my liking. That was an error on my end, I must have missed the fine print stating they'd be so close. The Cabin was so spacious and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend to those who are okay with having others close by. The only reason I complain about this is because I don't like to let my dogs roam if I know there are others nearby. But other than that it was great. The hike we found was 9 minutes away which was a plus. I'd also be aware of the shared outhouse, but that soon won't be an issue because it seems something better is currently being built as the outhouse and bathhouse. "

"The canvas cabin was basically brand new as were all the furnishings. Same for the entire facility. Everything was clean and new. It was a nice glamping place. I was worried about heat, since it was about 50 degrees. The space heater worked like a champ. I stayed there to bicycle the Hincapie Gran Fondo about 3 miles away at Hotel Domestique. It was a quick and easy commute. The camp store and bathroom facilIty was also basically brand new and very nice. "
