「The hotel was beautiful - staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great position with view of Croagh Patrick and Clew Bay. Bedroom spacious with cimplimentary water - had a fridge and safe which was great. Bed comfortable esp the pillows. Appreciated that. Highly recommend. 」

「For a larger resort style hotel, I thought the food was well above average. The room and bed comfort were excellent and a big plus for a non left hand side driver, a oarking lot with a not only sufficient space, but enough open swing room to get in and out of the lot with ease. 」
「Stayed here for a week as a base to mooch around Mayo where my family roots are. Hotel decor is a little tired here and there but that did not affect our enjoyment or not make hotel VFM. Lots of friendly local/Irish staff, which I think helps to add warmth to the atmosphere and is perhaps unusual for this size of hotel - perhaps because of Westport’s size? Food is great. Had been meaning to climb Croagh Patrick for a while and finally got round to it this time. This is not for the feint-hearted...
「First time in Castlebar and found this hotel to be a great location to stay in before my meeting next day.
Whilst i arrived after 7pm and the restaurant kitchen closed at 7pm, I rang the reception and they offered me the choice to pre order a dinner - went for Roast Beef.
On arrival check-in was very swift, my room was warm and comfortable and dinner when served was delicious.
Quiet room with warm shower and great bed - so superb sleep enjoyed.
Breakfast was delicious with nice choices on...

The only negative I have is the lack of air conditioning and /or ceiling fans in guest rooms. The windows are set up to open only about an inch. This does not allow for air flow. Very stuffy 」
