「Great place to stay」

「Awesome place! Accommodations were great and the snacks and drinks provided were a huge hit since it was so late when we finally got there. The event we came in to town for was about an hour away but it was so nice having a secluded place where all you hear is nature and can enjoy the peace of Gods country. Hope to make it back one of these days. 」

「Beautiful views! House was very clean and perfect for a weekend of relaxing and staying in.」

Floors were uneven and sinking in spots. Roof covered with tarp. Walls were particle board and mismatched pieces of scrap wood. Overall, we had to question the integrity of the home. Owner did not sent check- in info on day of until we called an hour after check-in time. Left shortly after seeing the place....

「Take you kids of any age from a city and bring them to this dream village house, as well take the to several hikes in nearby and in North Carolina to experience rocky trails. Exquisite design and thoughtful comfort.」

「Fantastic property. Super clean and the hosts were communicative and helpful. We will stay here again. Thanks!!」

There are plenty of towels (not always the case with rental homes), hand soap, dish soap, tissues, and toiletries. Somebody clearly went out of their way to consider the little details, like the adorable decor, to make the home very cozy and inviting. Great location for Table Rock, Caesars Head, Keowee-Toxaway state parks and Lake Keowee. The Pumpkintown General Store is great...
