I liked the unique setting Accommodation description is a bit misleading. The bed in the caboose is too small for two people ( a full) and needs a new mattress. The Station house has two single beds, it is nicely stocked but has a musty smell. There was also a bad smell in the outside patio area that made it unusable.

Overton Nation gives the Station House & Caboose a 10 out of 10! With just a few small adjustments that we discussed with the amazing host, we truly believe this unique property can go beyond a 10. While it does not have three separate bedrooms, it offers three comfortable living and sleeping areas that can accommodate six people, with room for additional sleeping arrangements if needed. The best part is that you get to enjoy two completely unique spaces—the Station House and the Caboose—during one stay. If you’re looking for a whimsical, nostalgic, sleepover-style experience where family can relax, reconnect, laugh, and create memories that will last a lifetime, this is the place for you. We did notice a slight outdoor odor at times and mentioned it to the host, who was very receptive. Those of us familiar with country living wondered if it could be from surrounding vegetation or fallen plums fermenting from the plum tree. But fire up the fire pit, and the smell becomes unnoticeable. Sit back, roast some s’mores, enjoy the experience, and make memories. Thank you to the wonderful host for an amazing stay. Overton Nation will definitely be back!😍
