The property was what we expected except for a problem that arose the first morning. We had no hot water. We had to contact the manager 3x before getting a response hours later. We were never contacted once the manager knew the problem was not going to be resolved as hoped. Again, we had to reach out to the manager multiple times. He only ever responded by text. A personal call would have gone a long way. We were offered a reasonable solution (access to an empty unit's shower) with a discount or a refund. We went with the reasonable solution with a discount. It still took much longer than anticipated to get access to the shower. (We checked in Friday afternoon, reported problem Saturday morning at 7:30 am, were told about options Saturday evening, received access after 11 am Sunday, Checked out Monday.) But ultimately, we did get a hot shower and anticipated a communication about the discount. Again, there was NO communication after the stay. I have stayed at other properties over the years and most check in at the end of the stay. There was NO personal communication. Finally, after 3 weeks and a few inquiries, I received an invoice showing the return of the security deposit and the discount. The discount was exactly what I would have expected. Overall, everything was handled, but better communication would have resulted in a better review.
