"Excellent communication prior to the stay and a very loving host. Property is located just up a pretty steep hill from town past the school house. Walking down the hill to town was easy-peasy, however, walking back up was a solid workout. It’s located right off the Main Street and definitely closer than most of the houses around."

"My only minor concern is the check-in and check-out times. Check-out is at 10:00 AM, and it can be difficult to arrange check-in before 4:00 PM. For a three-night stay costing over 900, this does feel like a relatively limited amount of time to fully enjoy the property. A slightly later check-out, similar to what many hotels offer (around 11:00 AM), or the option of an earlier check-in would, in my opinion, improve the overall experience."

Peaceful getaway Close to Goldwater Lake *Cabin

"The cabin was very clean when we checked in but the issues we had were the dryer was still running with a lot of sheets and pillow cases in it so we folded them and set aside. The bed downstairs was horrible mattress needs to be replaced and bed creaked so loud when you moved it woke us up. Our backs were aching in the morning so the second and third night my husband went to the upstairs bed and he said it was better. There were no kitchen towels or wash cloths in the bathrooms or kitchen or sponges so we had to use paper towel for clean ups and dish washing which was not very useful also in the kitchen there were only 3 dinner size plates and 2 bread size plates in the kitchen so we had to wash them after every meal. There were lots of bowls but not nearly enough plates. We had ants in the kitchen on the counters and in the silverware drawer so we kept the tray on the island and found bug spray under sink to help kill the ants which we had to reapply every day. I think if they updated the kitchen pans (they were all very used and scratched)and addressed the sparse dinnerware and kitchen towels it would have been much better and efficient for the next guests. We did reach out to the host about the ants and she responded right away which was great. The neighborhood was wonderful very quiet and peaceful. All and all we would stay there again but would be more prepared on our end."
