Shauna was very kind in her communication. The cabin itself was great: clean, comfortable, well stocked… and, of course, the views were spectacular. The drive up to the cabin was treacherous….narrow, gravel, steep roads with drop offs into the hundreds of feet. In fairness though, I personally have a height phobia. We were told, by one of areas workman, the modes of transportation in the winter are snow mobiles with all cars being parked at the lower levels. This cabin is easily at 2500 feet elevation!The entrance into the cabin leaves a bit to be desired…only because there are no stairs or safe walkways for coming and going. It’s rugged country up there! Did we enjoy our stay…. definitely! It’s probably more of a paradise for those who love winter sports, however!

What a terrific cabin with a magnificent view. We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Everything was as described and the host was very responsive to support a great visit.

Kinda cute, but

The cabin was OK although the TV's wouldn't work, and the loft had very steep steps to get up there. We are both retired and had lots of trouble getting up there. Great views and very quiet.The road up to the cabin was terrible. Very under stated. Along with that, we had to park at the top of the hill and carry all our stuff down 50 yards to the house. For young people that's ok, for us, that's not very good. Very steep and loose gravel.

We had a great time at this little cabin!! A bit of a drive out of town but once you’re there it’s so cute and cozy. Would definitely go back!

Cabin in the woods

Great little cabin, cute and peaceful . We saw deer and small bucks off the deck in the evening . It has no ac , only fans which is to be expected as it is a cabin, very small bathroom & shower. The water was very hot tho! Could def use a deep cleaning as there was spiders and cob webs and dirt in the windows and seals and corners. If you’re looking for a real cabin in the woods this is it . There’s quite a few other cabins near by so it’s not extremely private but out of all of them this one was in the best spot with a great view . Happy with our stay. .

Stunning View and Quiet

What a great getaway with an amazing view and a tranquil environment to rest and relax. The amenities were excellent. We would certainly stay again. The property owner was accessible and extremely helpful.

Cute little cabin

My family and I enjoyed staying in this cabin, it’s the perfect size for a small family. It’s a little out of the way, but the view is worth it. And the host was nice and responsive. Would definitely stay here again :)

Girl Camp!

Three of my friends and I have been getting together, once a year if we can, to go on adventures near and far. This cabin did not disappoint! We actually took a wrong turn somewhere and ended up on the wrong side of the mountain :-) BUT our host helped us out and we made it. Suggestions: Screens on windows so renters can enjoy the nice, cool mountain air cooling down the cabin at night!

Great Place!

Great cabin with everything you need, and a perfect view (I mean PERFECT). Be prepared for the trek up the gravel road to get here - just take it slow and you’ll be fine. Close to town with peace and privacy. Easy check in. Responsive owner. Will stay again!

Anniversary Trip

Amazing woodsy getaway!

Really enjoyed this charming cabin. Nicely decorated, nicely equipped for a quiet relaxing weekend getaway. Views are incredible, host was excellent at communicating and the four of us enjoyed our stay thoroughly. No complaints!!

Anniversary getaway

Lovely and fairly secluded getaway for our anniversary Memorial weekend 2022! The cabin was perfect for a quiet, and romantic anniversary getaway. There were other cabins nearby, but they were far enough away that we hardly noticed them. Our peace was only disturbed for a couple of hours the second day of our stay when there were people riding ATVs or dirt bikes nearby. We had everything we needed for a nice stay. We enjoyed sitting out on the large deck for a morning cuppa and watching the trees sway, and snuggling up in the evening with the crackling fire of the woodstove.

Mountain retreat

Enjoyed a great long weekend at the property. The place was small, but the perfect size for my wife and I. Was rustic, but comfortable and clean. Views from the deck were almost unreal at times. The stars at night were too numerous to count. We arrived late at night so the drive up the house was a little challenging until we got to know it a little better in the daylight. Directions were great and accurate. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect nearby getaway!

My wife and I wanted a place that felt far away but was around 2 hours away from home. Perfect location for us. Owner - Shauna - was extremely helpful and had great communication. Last mile or so is gravel roads but if you take it slow you won't have any worries. We LOVED how quiet and secluded the cabin was! 10/10, would stay again!

Cute, scenic cabin!

This cabin was great- views were spectacular ! A little warm in the heat of the summer, but owner gave great tips on cooling down the place- (there were no screens because wind and elements have proven that screens can’t be maintained) but fans helped and cooled off considerably before bed . Wanted to leave windows open at night but bugs negated that idea! Owner suggested opening with lights off and that seemed to work best until bedtime :)
