「I like the location, clean and staff friendly, love the atmosphere, gym and pool area, my family and I enjoy our stay in the hotel, near to shopping and other city. Great food, a nice place to stay」

「The rooms where nice and clean and the ac was working well.」

「I have chosen to stay at the Portola Hotel for five consecutive years, and it is always exceptionally pleasant. The location is absolutely perfect. The neighborhood is safe and scenic, making my morning and evening strolls highly enjoyable. A special highlight this year was spotting wild sea otters near the hotel for the first time. It has truly become my go-to hotel in Monterey, and I already look forward to returning.」

「minor point... it can be a labrinth to get to your room. it's the personality of the real estate. however, if a staff member can see there's a deer in the head lights look in a "client" after being told the navigation instructions, recognize that and make sure there is staff available to help navigate the premises.」
