"We chose Relais delle Rosarie as a base for a week to explore Lecce and its surrounding region. It was an excellent choice. The house is located in a private and peaceful position in its own grounds and the interior is beautifully decorated with antiques and works of art. "We booked this property last minute, since our initial reservation at another hotel was cancelled by the host and left us stranded. What a gem! It was very clean, modern, friendly staff who allowed early check in, and excellent location to walk around Lecce. Would highly recommend. "

This is not a Grand hotel in the sense of the Danieli or Excelsior, however, that is probably because they choose not to have a restaurant, even though they put out a sumptuous breakfast and have a commercial kitchen and plenty of staff. Our room had filthy old green carpeting, but we noticed in the long hallway that some rooms have modern wood flooring, which is much more sanitary I don't know why we weren't given the upgrade since we are hotel gold members. The only other issue was the parking which we tried to reserve well in advance, but was unavailable, which was disappointing since we have a brand new Mercedes-Benz . The staff was very pleasant and the bathroom was spacious and had the best shower of our trip. Overall, it was good value for the money and it's probably one of the better hotels in Lecce."
