I was a little skeptical after reading other reviews, however my 9 year old son and I were pleasantly surprised!! The hotel is in an upgrading phase, but the upgrades are lovely! The rooms have microwaves and good size mini fridges. It is extremely quiet and we loved overlooking the river, as well as the proximity to places. The washer and dryer was less than 5$ to use and out did mine at home! We will definitely stay again when we are in the area.

Great place to get what you pay for. Need more towels! Non smoking still smelled like smoke, but again, the price is right, the vibes are fine, and it's pretty clean. Extremely simple setup in the rooms, don't expect much and you'll be satisfied

The room was clean and quiet and comfortable and seemed to be recently renovated, but the property as a whole is a mess. The stairs and overall walk to the room were a confusing nightmare and there was an inch of standing water on part of the walkway that could not be avoided. Decent value for the price. The attached gentleman’s club is either a plus or a minus depending on your preference, but it was a surprise. It didn’t bother me.

The room was not properly cleaned and did not smell fresh. There was a strong odor of cigarette smoke in the air and on the pillows, and the bed cover had a small burn hole from a cigarette. The hallway also appeared unclean and had an unpleasant smell. On a positive note, the bathroom was properly cleaned and in good working condition.

This was the most sparsely furnished place we have ever stayed. The room itself was spacious enough, and it was well cleaned. However, it lacked a lot of things that other hotels we have visited include just as a matter of course. Our room had no chairs, no table, no place to hang clothes, and there were no outlets in the bathroom. There was no microwave nor refrigerator in our room, no iron nor ironing board, no coffee maker, and not even a coffee pot at the front desk. No breakfast was provided. On the plus side, the shower was a nice tiled one with glass doors, and there was plenty of hot water very quickly when we turned it on. We had two small, thin bath towels, one hand towel, and one washcloth for two people. The man at the front desk gave me another washcloth when I asked, but I would’ve expected more towels in the room at the start. We would not stay here again. The room was clean, but that was basically the only thing in its favor. For not much more cash outlay, you can get places that have a lot more amenities and more comfort in the way of someplace to sit, workspace, and hanging space for clothes.

This property is a bit of an unpolished gem for what it is. It was clear that a lot of renovations and changes were in the works and I could definitely see the positives of that. A member of maintenance staff was actively replacing the mini-fridge with a brand new one upon arrival to the room, so it was good to see they are making improvements! The room was clean but not spotless; a few clearly old stains were on the comforter and walls, but the kind where you can tell it was just spots that wouldn't come out from cleaning. It was a simple room with a very comfortable bed and an obviously recently updated bathroom. The location has both a positive and potential negative, depending on your sensibilities. The positive is that it was extremely close to Philly (only a 15ish minute drive to a venue we were visiting that night!) and to Camden (again only 15ish minutes), where we were visiting the aquarium on check-out day. Our room was also overlooking the neighboring river which was a nice view in the morning. On the other hand, the hotel is attached directly to a gentleman's club, of which you could hear the music through the lobby. Not something that I personally care about, but something to keep in mind if you are sensitive to that kind of thing! In general, nothing to write home about just yet but you can tell that the employees are actively improving the building. The outside is still clearly a work in progress, but the room was wonderful for the cost!

Staff was very nice but mentioned a bar next door when we could hear the music in the office. It was around 9:00pm and it was just my 16 year old daughter and I traveling. We were hungry and there was a menu for food at the bar on the window barrier between staff and us. We went to the room and unloaded, it was very clean. Then we decided to walk to the bar to see if we could get food! When we got to where we could see the front of the bar it said “ GENTLEMANS CLUB” on the front and I looked at my daughter and said I hope this is not a strip club and we walked in. It was a strip club! You would think that the people in the office would have mentioned that but nope they just referred to it as a bar! Needless to say when we walked out my 16 year old daughter said “ why didn’t the lady in the office warn us?” Kind of disturbing.

The shower in the room i stayed in looked ok but the room itself was horrible. Like the bed was decent but the floor was dirty, the tv is old, the microwave is old. No phones in the room so you have to go all the way downstairs if you needed to talk to the office. The people running it seemed nice but the motel itself is definitely not one i would want to come back to. Reaks of marijuana and there are sign saying no marijuana. There is also a strip club right on the property. Didn’t even bother checking it out.

The place itself was simple for a night or 2 stay. I believe that it important and should be required for them to put somewhere that it is attached to a gentleman’s club. As it was 2 young girls traveling together we definitely felt uneasy and uncomfortable with it especially not knowing before hand.
