Spacious house near lake with private pool, perfect for 16 guests

"Het is een gezellig huis, maar wel erg oud. Het ruikt muf en het was niet goed schoongemaakt, er waren veel spinnenwebben in het huis. Beddengoed, theedoeken en vaatdoeken waren niet inbegrepen, dus je moet echt alles zelf meenemen of huren. We kregen last van lekkage in de keuken waardoor de hele bijkeuken onder water stond. Dit hebben we zelf allemaal op moeten ruimen en schoon moeten maken. Er kwam wel een vriendelijke dame (Pauline) van de tussenpartij Orpi om te helpen met de lekkage, dat was fijn. Ze beloofde ook te kijken of er een compensatie mogelijk was. De verwarming in het huis ging niet uit (ook niet nadat er iemand kwam kijken) waardoor het in een aantal kamers zo warm was dat je er niet kon slapen. De stoelen in de serre waren erg wankel doordat de poten niet goed bevestigd zijn en waren daardoor onveilig. Een stoel zakte meteen in toen mijn vriend erop ging zitten waardoor hij hard achterover viel. De foto’s van het zwembad en de zitzakken moeten nodig geupdate worden, het ziet er absoluut niet meer zo uit. Je moet een flinke borg vrijgeven als je dit boekt, daar komt pas 2 weken voor het verblijf bericht van. Ik heb vaak grote huizen geboekt en dat nog nooit gehad. Ik kreeg een mail dat er een bedrag wordt geïncasseerd van mijn borg omdat er 2 ramen beschadigd zouden zijn. Er is tijdens ons verblijf niks met de ramen gebeurd en de beloofde compensatie kwam niet. Echt heel jammer, we houden hier een teleurgesteld en zelfs een beetje boos gevoel aan over."

"A lovely laid back place to stay, close to the lake, friendly golf course, and delightful cycle path to the beach area. Cottage is full of charm, character and history. Owners super helpful too!"

"We received a very warm welcome into this beautifully clean, well appointed and spacious property. Very modern and clean apartment, set in wooded parkland which we were able to enjoy a very pleasant walk through on many tracks. Extremely comfortable bed which is always good news! Would highly recommend."
