"Villa Carolina has the most peaceful, tranquil location of anywhere we’ve ever stayed. Great communication from David at Vine Ridge Retreats, who also provided great directions to the villa. It’s is off the beaten track slightly but thats what makes it so lovely. The directions were easy to follow and the journey is hassle free. A 10/15 min drive from the villa is the beautiful village of Comares. It has restaurants and a very reasonably priced & well stocked supermarket. The villa is very comfortable and has everything you need. Including a lovely powerful hairdryer (important to some, me!). The swimming pool is wonderful with stunning views with a lovely barbecue area. Star gazing is a must as no light pollution. Highly recommend, we will be back. Thanks."

"An amazing rural Spanish farmhouse. Host Maria was available immediately as and when needed. Our family had a wonderful time at this property and it was a shame we didn’t stay longer. The pool was clean and suitable size for 5 adults. The property was furnished simply but adequately. The drive from the main road up to the home was narrow but suitable for a large car. It was very private near the top of a hill. The views of the El Borge and all the neighbouring farms were exquisite and peaceful. Mango, lemon, fig trees as far as the eyes could see."

"We had a lovely memorable holiday in this villa, which was perfect for our needs. The villa was very spacious and clean, as we were two families- 4 adults and 4 children. The outdoor space was excellent with everyone especially enjoying the heated pool and fantastic views. The bedrooms were comfortable to sleep in and the temperature was fine, we didn't actually have to use the air conditioning, which was in all the bedrooms. Isabelle and Jose were very helpful and easy to contact and responded back quickly.Comares was just a five minute drive away and we could see the village from the villa. We enjoyed meals at both Verde Oliva & Bar Pepa. The locals were very friendly particularly at the village store."
