"Beautiful location near the water. Scott was communicative the entire time and always answered my questions in a timely manner. He provided a great guide to the area which included recommendations for local trails and restaurants. It was a perfect relaxing getaway in the woods. Would definitely book again!"

"I loved this cabin in the woods near Metchosin. It was SO quiet, all I heard was the rustling wind through the trees and the birds. At first I had misgivings about it being about 1/2 hour from downtown Victoria, vs. being in the heart of the action. But then I talked to a new acquaintance who did rent a condo in a high-rise, and she commented about the sirens and revving engines and noise. I can get that in my hometown city, so I'm very glad I rented Jamie's place.It was spotless and very well equipped. Every night I soaked in the beautiful hot tub under the native Garry Oak, with a cooling breeze over the hot water. In the summer the sun comes out very early and sets late. I liked being able to open the curtains in the bedroom and feel almost like in a treehouse.Check out the fancy pigeons in the coop down the hill. The white one is a real character! There's a lovely wine barrel converted into a little pond with a fountain with goldfish. The deck is a very comfortable and blissful place for breakfast, with a London Fog tea latte from Broken Paddle Cafe, about five minutes away.The hosts were delightful to talk to and I enjoyed meeting them. There's so much to do in Victoria, that I feel even in a week-long stay, I have a lot more to see and do. I look forward to returning to this beautiful and friendly corner of Canada, my new favorite country."
