Winter trip
The property ground & atmosphere were great. The bar and restaurant were a nice touch and convenient. The Bungalow however was very disappointing. The bed and pillows were the worst we have ever encountered & the bed springs were excessively loud. Description of room showed night stands, listed a coffee pot, and other items. Had none of these things. Stovetop unusable and very rusty. Knob to turn on stove was broken. Silverware consisted of several rusty cooking utensils, one teaspoon, one tablespoon, and two forks. No lightbulb in the porch light. Had to take light bulb out of bathroom fixture to have an outside light, which that fixture was hanging half off the building and the outlet cover was left bare with no cover. It was like our bungalow was the forgotten one and we were put in it as an afterthought. The plus side was the ac worked great & the room was relatively clean. We were told that they are doing a big makeover. We hope bungalow 16 is on the list. We were actually shocked that they would put anyone in there. We would give it another chance as long as they have updated the rooms. The location was good and staff were friendly.
