"We have stayed at Steve’s and Nancy’s for two weeks and experienced their hospitality, friendliness and such a warmth. Loved the place : super comfortable, very private yet close enough to know the host is there when you need them. Steve and his helper rescued us from a very daring car trouble for which we were so grateful. We enjoyed the tranquility and spectacular views, jacuzzi on the huge terrace was awesome. We will go back next year."

One of my favorite parts was the beautiful forest surroundings, where is thewe could see hummingbirds flying around all the time. It was such a peaceful and enjoyable experience. Highly recommend! "

"Cabaña rústica en un lindo lugar al que hay que llegar con 4x4 por el último tramo hasta la casa. El propietario (Álvaro) fue muy amable. A la casa le hace falta algo de acondicionamiento: no dispone de agua caliente (puede hacer frío) y eché de menos que estuviera algo más acondicionada (limpieza y algún detalle adicional). After walking down the stairs, you see the most incredible rock house with built-in spa, open concept living/dining areas, and truly incredible bathroom with heated seat and great shower. We loved spending family time together in this memorable location. If we had more time, we would have enjoyed hanging out in the gazebo over the river. Very excited to return someday."

"Came to Turrialba for the Canyons- but fell in love with this place. The deck was incredible, great place for mornings- watching the Tucan, watching the clouds roll by all from a comfy chair. The hot tub was a rare novelty. I spent time in other cities in CR, but this place is incredible. Absolutely will be back!"

"The place was very quiet ( except the noises from the “ rain forest” which were delightful to us. The house was clean, simple but perfect for what we wanted, which was a marriage retreat get away."

"At first the initial drive seemed very long, it is like 8 miles total, approx, but after driving it 12 times it got better/easier. And being so remote there are mucho other homes up there. Beautiful views to the oceanon the south, to the north, waterfalls and mountains."

"Very nice hosts, great house in the middle of the jungle.... you can hear the monkeys yell at night, you can see monkeys hanging around, you live directly in the jungle...but you always feel safe and cozy! What an amazing experience! Thanks, Tracy and David"

We loved waking up to bird songs and breakfast with the most friendly dogs you have ever met. We loved the area so much we ended up buying property from them! "
