A family-owned boutique villa born from a love for El Zonte and its waves, Casa Origen is one of the last true oceanfront homes in the area — a refuge that preserves the essence of the original surf town and the luxury of simplicity. Designed to welcome families and groups with ease, the property comfortably accommodates up to 18 guests without losing its intimate, laid-back feel.
Set directly in front of one of the few remaining left-hand waves in El Salvador, its open architecture lets the ocean be the main host, from sunrise to sunset.

Here, luxury isn’t found in design or concrete, but in space, silence, and presence — the uninterrupted view of the horizon, the freedom to share open spaces, and the rare privilege of stepping barefoot from your door onto the sand.

Property Layout & Privacy
Guests will have exclusive use of the main house and all listed amenities. Please note that the home is part of a larger private beachfront compound. The owners may occasionally stay in a private apartment on-site, and there is also a separate studio near the entrance that is rented long-term to a family friend.

Both units are completely independent and do not have access to any guest-designated areas, including the pool, kitchen, living spaces, or dining areas. Guest privacy is fully respected at all times.

Every corner was designed to feel relaxed and natural — wood, sand tones, linen, and greenery combine to create a grounded yet refined space.

The owners occasionally stay in a small apartment, near the pool but always keep to themselves and fully respect guest privacy.

To maintain top-quality standards, we schedule regular visits from our pool cleaner and gardener. These essential services ensure everything remains in perfect condition. We aim to coordinate visits while guests are out, but the property requires upkeep at least every 4 days.

Casa Origen is managed by Ocean Stays, a professional property management team based in El Zonte.

Our dedicated team is available online throughout your stay to assist with anything—from local tips to curated experiences. Upon booking, we’ll gladly help coordinate:

Casa Origen is a family-owned boutique villa, lovingly maintained by its local owners and a small support team who ensure everything runs smoothly during your stay.

Please note that the property is part of a larger private beachfront compound. The owners may occasionally stay in a fully separate private apartment on-site, and there is also a separate studio near the entrance that is rented long-term to a family friend. Both units are completely independent and do not have access to any guest-designated areas, including the pool, kitchen, living spaces, or dining areas.

If you would prefer that the owners do not stay on the property during your reservation, please let us know at least 48 hours prior to your check-in date, and we will be happy to accommodate whenever possible.


Please also note that there is ongoing construction on a neighboring property. We have included a photo in the listing to show this clearly. While the construction does not affect visual privacy within the house or pool area, some noise may occur at times.
