It is so close to being the perfect high-end micro hotel it wants to be, that it is such a shame that it misses the mark. The hotel has no staff from noon to 4:30. You cannot arrive between those times and to make matters worse they will charge you if you arrive earlier and want to check in. Everything was as communicated on Vrbo and was well appointed with the exception of a dirty pool and the stove was sometimes a challenge for us.. All in all, our stay was very enjoyable. "Historic hotel near the station and well located for the Duomo etc. the room although spacious was not very welcoming, and the breakfast was somewhat disappointing. Some lovely pieces of furniture here and there and the staff were generally very nice. One downside was a very annoying door bell that went off in the front reception for every automatic door opening, which occurred even after a light gust of wind. Shame as the hotel could be great."
