Summary:

Three story Greystone which still has the original charm with it's 2 story entrance is nestled within a very highly sought after neighborhood under a mile away from the home of the Chicago White Sox!



Plenty of FREE street parking.



The Space:

Sitting on a double lot this 4 bedroom plus office/den, 3 separate bathrooms (one w/ tub, one w/shower & one half bathroom). Central Air. This home has many amenities! Mentioning a few, it has granite countertop, stainless steel appliances, stain glass skylight, hardwood floors, balcony, recessed lighting and custom blinds. The home is perfect for relaxing and/or entertaining.

Located near Mariano's (Local Grocery Store), Guaranteed Rate Field (Chicago White Sox), Soldier Field (Chicago Bears), Lake Meadows Mall with LA Fitness, restaurants, Lake Michigan and minutes from downtown Chicago. This is truly a property to book!

Before we can confirm any booking, we do need to know:

2. How many people will be staying at the home?

3. Do you expect any visitors, if so how many?



Not a party house! Strict rules against any parties or any smoking in the home. If you are looking to party this is not the home for you! We do have two RING cameras. One at the front and the back entrance. Do not block the cameras.



Fireplaces are just for show, NON-functioning



We may require an ID & signed Rental Agreement or a refundable deposit prior to check in.

We do NOT allow late check out. There is a charge of $25/10 min after 11AM.



We do not have keys or access to our mailbox.



We do have Ring Cameras outside the property. Any blocking of the cameras will lead to an automatic eviction, forfeiture of security deposit, no refund and a fine. Please do not block these cameras



$250 lockout fee if needed to call a locksmith to let in. If keys at property and lost this charge will apply. If no keys, this will not be applicable unless tampering was made with our digital door lock system

Our concierge team is available from 10am–8pm Sunday-Thursday and 10am–12am Friday and Saturday. Messages received outside of these hours will be addressed promptly the following day. We curate a refined, hands-off experience so you can immerse yourself in comfort and relaxation — with attentive support whenever needed.

Family trip for my dad's 75th birthday

We were really looking forward to our stay, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. First, the front door keypad better died the next morning and it took over 90 minutes for someone to fix it. This caused us to miss my dad's birthday lunch reservation which was incredibly frustrating as we had additional persons joining us. When I expressed concerns over the cleanliness of the shower, which was not a huge issue as we wiped it down and moved on with our day, the person handling the issue reacted emotionally, implied that we were scammers and even threatened to modify our reserveration unilaterally creating unneccesary stress for my family. Thankfully, a different representative was working the evening shift and handled the situation more professionally. Beyond this, the property itself did not match the photos and many items need updating. Additionally, there were no pantry staples provided, which is something to keep in mind when planning your stay. If you have mobility concerns, be cautious - there are a lot of steep stairs. Overall, the property's location is convenient and the property has potential but the lack of professionalism from the property management made for a disappointing stay. I would not book here again.

Nice place close to McCormick - 1.2 miles away

Cozy place. Convenient location with supermarket and pharmacy within walking distance. Bedrooms are on 2nd and 3rd floor . Stairs are a little steep but manageable. In the winter, the heat worked well. Hosts were very accommodating and easy to communicate with.

Misleading Listing!

When looking for a property in Chicago, we needed several bedrooms, and at least two full bathrooms for the six of us that were staying. This place looked extremely cute and checked all the boxes. When we arrived, the check in process was simple and made sense, and the property was clean. Unfortunately, the two full bathrooms that both include a shower was misleading. There is a half bath on the first floor, a bath on the second with only a tub (no shower head at all), and the third bath has two shower heads in one shower. This was incredibly disappointing as we had a decent sized group, and it changed timing each morning for getting ready for those who showered. There was ample street parking, that was never an issue, and the neighborhood was quiet although not as quaint as anticipated. All in all, the pictures were better than the real thing, and be aware that there is not two full bathrooms in this house. It was lucky we weren't spending much time in it other than sleeping, I think I would be more disappointed if we needed it for more than that.

Could have been worse

I stayed 5 days with with 4 other adult guests. Sleeping Arrangements: Bedroom 4 lists two beds- a Queen and a Twin/Single, but this is not the case. The "bed" in that room was a chaise that was too small for a 5'6" tall person to lay flat on. The fifth bed on the property is actually a pull-out couch in the living room, for which there were no sheets and only a throw blanket. We asked for sheets and a blanket. We got the blanket day 2 of our stay, but we didn't receive sheets, even after sending a reminder. Leaky Ceiling: There was a rainstorm while we stayed, and the ceiling of one of the bedrooms started to leak during the evening. The leak was acknowledged the same night, but wasn't addressed for the rest of our stay (an additional 30 hours). Luckily it was a "slow drip" that eventually stopped. Light Switches: Note going in that this is an older building and light switches aren't placed in convenient locations. You have to walk through the entry dining area to find a switch for the front door, all the lights for the third floor are located on the second floor, etc. Property Management: While we had to reach out to the property manager several times during our stay, they always replied promptly and were available via phone, text, and email. Location: Very conveniently located near the bus lines and the train. There are a few food options nearby, and a grocery store within walking distance. General Notes: The property was clean. The kitchen had a dishwasher, oven, fridge, and dishes. The water becomes scalding VERY easily; supervise children if you bring any. Stairs are a little steep, and I recommend keeping the hallway lights on, as the switches aren't on the same floor. Temperature regulation (especially heating) wasn't well distributed- one bedroom was constantly cold due to a floor-to-ceiling glass window fixture. A space heater was provided for that room.

Home needs a a lot of work

8 of us were in town for a conference we were attending. Hotels were filled up so we opted for a vrbo. This was a mile away so we went for it. First, they are very strict on what you can and can’t do. No more than 8 people allowed, so we could have friends over to visit that we haven’t seen in two years, or for the team meeting we wanted to have there. Second, we walk in and it’s HOT and reeks of musty mildew! Some windows had no coverings. I feel the managers of this building were in control of the air, even though they deny it. I unplugged the wifi to charge my phone (not a lot of outlets) and forgot to plug back in….guess what..air stayed nice and cold when we returned back to the house instead of hot all over again. They have big box fans everywhere because the ceiling fans don’t work. Second floor toilet doesn’t work. Shower is very low pressure, trickle. 3rd floor is extremely hot all the time. I don’t appreciate being accused of flushing something down the toilet when I reported in day one it didn’t work. Had a great time elsewhere w friends but I don’t recommend this house at all. Should have read the reviews on yelp. 10 months prior to my visit, someone posted pics of black mold! And we noticed all these weird paint patch jobs..coincidence?

Very basic accomodations

This property was clean and safe. The property management company communicated well. It provided the basic accommodations but the property is definitely lacking. Only one shower on the property and it didn't really function well; very poor water pressure and could barely adjust temp to not be scalding hot...definitely a hazard with smaller kids. Fans and lights were very confusing and several did not work. Some windows did not have adequate for privacy and security. Kitchen was decent and main living area met our expectations. Paint is unfinished throughout the house....seemed like someone just gave up. I don't plan to stay again.
