"The room had two empty bottles of beer when we checked in. The staff were very good in every way, but the duvets do not have a cover, just a sheet under and a sheet over meaning during our sleep; we would touch the uncovered dirty duvet surface which many many others had touched during their sleep! The hotel needs to put the duvet in an entire case sheeting and then zip the bottom. When we requested this, the staff who are in NO way to blame were apologetic and said they did not have proper...
"This hotel looks plain and simple, not a lot of decorations but still look cool, clean and new. the hotel is kinda further off main street but not bad as a location."
"Un endroit enchanteur, Le propriétaire est d’une grande gentillesse. Nous avons loué un scooter et nous étions près de plusieurs attraits. À 10 minutes du temple Blanc et une vingtaine de minutes de la ville. Nous avons apprécié le calme et le site vraiment bien entretenu."

We love Thailand, Bangkok, Krabi, Chiang Mai, Phuket (ok) But Chiang Rai is at the top now. Laid back vibe, mountain setting, "modern" temples. The friendly people more like Cambodia or Vietnam vs. Bangkok. You won't be disappointed here!

A pretty genuine Thai City, not too unchanged by tourism over the last 20 years at all. I highly recommend getting the free Tram tour around the city and temples... It goes twice a day

Laid back friendly atmosphere. Good value for shopping, however, not that many exciting tourist activities.
"A short but excellent stay, couldn’t fault it! The staff were really helpful when discussing restaurants and things to do. The room was fantastic and all the facilities are great. Loved the fact that we were able to have bottled water without having to pay extra. Would definitely recommend stopping here."
