Siamo stati davvero bene. I proprietari sono delle persone meravigliose, accoglienti e pronte ad esaudire ogni richiesta. La signora é stata un tesoro con noi, ci ha anche lasciati stare oltre l’orario di check out perché avevamo un impegno nel pomeriggio e non avremmo saputo dove andare. Il sorriso é di casa e non avrò dubbi sul dove tornare se ripasserò in zona. Colazione super fornita e possibilità di fare menu per i pasti!

OVER-BOOKING???? MA PER FAVORE.....!!!!!

Impossibile giudicare l'Hotel Montecarlo visto che, senza nemmeno farci entrare, ci hanno subito sbattuto fuori. Malgrado la prenotazione fosse di un mese prima, infatti, arrivati all'hotel la portineria ci ha detto che erano in over-booking per l'arrivo di una comitiva e che non potevano ospitarci. Ora noi eravamo là per lavoro e ci siamo trovati spiazzati. La signora ci ha detto che ci aveva trovato una camera in un hotel vicino e ci ha accompagnati. La portineria dell'hotel vicino si è scusata preventivamente, informando che ci avevano assegnato l'ultima camera disponibile. Abbiamo chiesto di poterla vedere per decidere e... era di uno squallore unico. Abbiamo rifiutato e ci siamo messi a cercare un altro albergo, dovendoci accontentare di quello che abbiamo trovato, onesto e niente più. Due considerazioni. Se l'Hotel Montecarlo non ci poteva ospitare avrebbe dovuto quanto meno avvisarci, anche se si giustifica male l'annullamento di una prenotazione di oltre un mese fa. Ammesso che non ci vuoi ospitare, almeno trovaci una camera decente. Secondo noi, per scusarsi del notevole inconveniente creato ed ingiustificato, una camera di categoria superiore, pagando di tasca la differenza. Così non è stato e lo stress per la situazione è stato molto.

Hyggelig å være tilbake...

Dette var mitt 2. opphold i hotel Monte Carlo. Jeg ble hyggelig ønsket velkommen, vist rommet (same som sist). Rommet mitt var passe stor for oppholdet (enkeltrom) med balkong og usikt. Liten gang med plass til å sette fra seg sko, henge opp jakker. Jeg fikk satt inn minibar på forespørsel, og hjelp med alt fra glutenfri mat til frokost og safen, da jeg ikke fikk opp den... Allerede fra dag 2 trengte jeg ikke be om glutenfri brød, og kaffen jeg ønsket. Det ble husket på. Fantastisk utstikt fra basseng og solterassen som har 2 etasjer. Personalet var imøtekommende og hyggelig.

Central and nice hotel in Chianciano

I was on a weekendtrip and had a great time at the hotel. Really nice and helpful employees. I got help with my luggage up to my room. Since I have celiac deases it's wa important to me to have glutenfree alternatives at breakfast. I got in touch with the hotel before my arrival and the first day when I entered the breakfastroom one of the employees showed me the glutenfree alternatives without me having to asked. They helped with information about timetables for the local busses, called the station to make sure they found the right information. After less then 24 hours they knew with roomnumber I had. Location is good. Walking distanse to the Piazza Italia, art museum, restaurants and shops, still it wasn't noisy. The pool on the 5th was great. And had a real great view to the Toscany landscape.
