The bar/ lounge is great, lovely fires and a lot of residents brought their dog, the staff engaged with all👍👍. Look forward to seeing how they upgrade the hotel after the January shutdown. We will be back."

"We fell in love with this property and wish we could have extended our stay for at least a few more days, but we had other plans to move on to. The beautiful home is set upon a hill with amazing views of the countryside. We were able to really disconnect, and traveled to some local places to sightsee within nature, and into town for some dinner (plenty of options in the neighboring villages). The house had everything possible that you could need, to feel comfortable and at home. Loved that you could have all the windows open to let in all the light and see the stunning views, or close the shades and get some restful sleep. You can also enjoy the hiking paths nearby or just sit and watch the adorable family of rabbits nibble at the grass and chase each other around, and cows grazing nearby. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back next time we’re in beautiful Northumberland!"
