Clean and spacious unit on second floor. Host was gracious and very helpful. Good fridge and good dining options in town. Don't miss the Mediterranean/Turkish place down the road. We are used to king size bed so this one felt cramped.

Comfortable, Spacious Suite in Great Location

Comfortable lodging in a very convenient location for access to Lassen NP and Lake Almanor. Hosts were wonderful and very helpful. It had everything we needed and there were plenty of dining options nearby.

Perfect place for us!

We have been coming to Chester for years, but our family has gotten too big to all stay together. This spot was PERFECT for us! Way more room than we expected, quiet, comfortable, and so restful. We would definitely stay here again!

Mile High Weekend

This place is fantastic! The owners were very friendly and helpful. Very roomy and comfortable with plenty of extras to make for a wonderful weekend. The location is perfect for starting and ending the annual Mile High Century event or enjoying the many activities this area has to offer. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone visiting the area.

very nice,two bedroom suite with a nice living room area, and small kitchen area ( microwave, refrigerator, sink) this really helped out, because of my wife's food allergies, so she could prepare some meals for herself. the owners were very nice and we found our stay to be very comfortable. we were very near good restaurants and the rest of the town was easily accessible. definitely recommend.

very private. Downstairs is a quiet business, TV in all 3 rooms. Notes displayed explaining how to operate things. Air conditioning excellent. 18 steep stairs.

Host is the Best Ever

We stayed 2 nights. Arrived in a snow flurry. The host had heated the place so it was warm and cozy. It is a small apartment above Ron Martin realty. Dianne is the host and is the most kind accommodating person you could hope for. The place has a cabin feel with a living room, 2 bedrooms, a small efficiency kitchen area and a large bath. There are TVs in each bedroom and the living area. the living area has 2 couches and an easy chair. We definitely will stay here again given the opportunity.

Fabulous Little Place!

I was able to secure a last minute reservation over the Memorial weekend for this apartment, and I'm so glad I did! Check-in and communication was a breeze and the location was perfect for the event (craft fair) I was attending. Upon entrance, there is a steep stairway that wouldn't be suitable for those with mobility issues, but once up to the top, we were greeted with a clean and welcoming abode. The kitchenette had the basics (microwave, hotel fridge/freezer, sink, coffee maker) with a nice added touch of menus, and a basket of coffee fixings. The beds were comfortable, and it was nice to step out on the balcony in the evening. Although this was right on the main street, there was still some sense of privacy, with a decent sized parking lot and tree lending space away from the street. There was also a frosty shack next door for ice cream! We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at One Sweet Lodge was as comfortable as being in our own home!

Thankfully, One Sweet Lodge was the best part of our weekend. Our son got sick, so we ended up spending most of our time here. Large living room area with comfortable couches, a rocker/recliner, huge tv that sits on a table that converts to a writing desk and a small dining table that can seat 4. One of the couches is a futon that can provide additional sleeping space. With all that, the room is still spacious and has access to a long balcony for fresh air. The bedrooms are equally large and comfortable. We slept great. The kitchenette and bathroom were thoughtfully stocked with essentials... even wine glasses. Everything was very clean and well thought out to make sure guests have a pleasant stay. The location is on the main drag in Chester, but the traffic noise did not bother us and it was so convenient to all the hikes we wanted to do at Lassan. We will be back for sure! The only disappointment was the local restaurants we tried. The Locker Room across the street was horrible and the Copper Kettle only marginally better. Hope to make better choices next time.
