"It’s a decent place to stay. The building definitely shows its age. Although the room was pretty clean, it smelled like smoke! The front desk staff seemed overwhelmed when I arrived and assigned me to a room that was actively being cleaned. The housekeeper was very apologetic and nice. I just patiently waited until she was done. Only one elevator worked and it sounded like it wouldn’t be working much longer. The items in the marketplace are ridiculously expensive. The staff at the restaurant weren’t able to answer basic questions about the ingredients in some of their items so I opted out. Overall a decent stay but it certainly wouldn’t be my first choice for next time!"

"I have never stayed at a hotel that was so loud before. Doors slamming all night and people walking up and down the hall yelling. The walls were so thin we could hear the rooms on both sides of us anytime someone talked. We stayed on the club floor (upgrade since our room was sold out) and did not expect that kind of experience. While the property was clean and the staff were great, we couldn’t sleep and wouldn’t stay here again. "

"Everything was great! The room and bathroom were neat and clean. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast had many options, more than I was expecting. Check in was a breeze. It was very quiet. The location was perfect—very close to the freeway and there were restaurants very close. The only con I have is that the AC in the room sounded like there were crickets in the room when it was running. It made it somewhat difficult to fall asleep. "

"It was a nice location with great parking and also rooms was a nice size. The disadvantage and negative review comes from the floor they originally put me on smelled of a smoke smell. The floors were dirty and the room was just not properly cleaned. They moved me to another floor which was better but the walls were so thin you could hear ppl in the rooms next to you and people walking down the halls. The hotel just had a smell too it that didn’t smell good. I really think if they invest in a better maintenance and housekeeping this place would be much more decent. "

"I really wanted to love this place, and there are definitely some positives, but unfortunately, a few key issues impacted our stay. The property itself is beautiful, with a lot of historic charm, and it’s impressively clean for its age. That said, our experience fell short in several areas. We were in town for a funeral and arrived very late, only to be woken up at 7:30 a.m. by loud roofing work directly above us. At no point during booking or during check-in were we informed that construction would be taking place. Even more frustrating, the roofing continued early into the weekend as well, leaving us with no opportunity to rest. We contacted the front desk to ask how long the work would continue and to request a solution, but never received a follow-up from a manager. Housekeeping was also inconsistent. They came in to remove trash but did not make the bed or clean the room. I had also asked the front desk to replace an empty body wash, but it was never taken care of, I ended up handling it myself. Additionally, the ironing board cover was worn, and the iron had residue on it, making it unusable. For $300 per night, I expected a much smoother and more attentive experience."

"The actual bedroom was very nice and clean. But the bathroom was horrible, when I entered the room the bathroom door was locked so i had to call for it to be opened. When i returned back to my room,there were hair particles, tub was dirty with hair and the mess that maintenence made was left on the floor. Horrible I was very disappointed for it to be a holiday inn. Will never book another stay at any holiday inn. My friend next door found a roach in his refrigerator how awful is that. I'm totally done with them. "

"It was overall a good stay...however after staying here numerous times over the past 3 years this stay was a little less than stellar. The shower was completely out of shower gel, i had to call to get my receipt emailed to me after checking out, the 2nd floor that i was placed was a bit to close near the live d.j. on the 1st floor. Staff was very pleasant and cordial. "
