The view from the balcony was the perfect thing, especially first thing in the morning. The staff was incredibly helpful and very friendly. The room was clean and the AC and the heater both worked well. A few minor upgrades are needed to the room, but nothing that would deter me from staying again

Nice balcony view and bull elk on the lawn. Fishing in the river was good. Town was easy access by vehicle. Property is dated and could use some maintenance. AC unit was dirty. Parking was convenient.

We originally booked a room for 2 nights online and the web showed us a room with jacuzzi and river view. We got there and had a regular room with a small tub and kudzu blocking our river view on First floor. Was not happy so we spoke to owners son who quickly moved us to the second floor with a jacuzzi and awesome view of river. He was very kind and helpful. My husband loved the river and trout fished for two days!! Very convenient to everything and very clean room. Will definitely stay there again!!

The staff was hard to find. The phone was ringing off the hook and nobody was around the front desk to answer it or check us in. I was told the room did not have a fridge or microwave so I asked if there was another room available and without checking she just said no. There is no breakast but I want to the lobby for coffee in the morning and the hotel staff did not even respond to my Good Morning. The room was very musty and lead us to believe there was water damage somewhere. The doors also did not close properly. The ice maker next to our room was out of order. The balcony off the back had a nice view of the river.

My husband and I ended up not staying at the hotel at all. The front desk person was great but the room itself was disgusting and unsafe. The blinds were completely broken and we caught a person looking in. I would like my money back but I know that wont happen. The room smelled like chemicals so badly we couldnt be in the room for more than a few minutes.

The place is ran down very bad. Rooms don’t match what you pay for. Free breakfast was advertised but the whole area is ran down and no breakfast served. All ice machines are down. Rooms are very dated. Not to mention the surrounding rooms have traffic in and out all night with the smell of drugs all around you. Don’t recommend for a family vacation for sure. Don’t waste your money on this place. It very well has the potential to be a nice place but as it sits it’s not even a 1 star hotel.

Neglected room is understatement. As soon as you walk in the door there is a broken bar pipe of sort , one small one large. Blood splatters on ceiling in 2 areas near one another. Then more blood on bottom of bathroom door plus door is broken off hinges. Also large spider by open closet front door, along with some mouse droppings in the toilet. We'll at least the mouse tried to keep clean. I'm disabled so called front desk explained to clerk what we witnesses and he stated he would be down. Just nearing 30 min still had not come down. We had begun loading our suv back up knowing we would not stay in that room. Finally 40 min have gone by we decide to go up see the clerk. Upon entering office with said broken pipes I brought in for clerk to see along with pics date and time stamped. He was on personal cell phone speaking with someone for a minute saying things like I'll be home late I'll call you back yada yada.. He said i assume you want a refund. I said yes please. Never offers any other accommodations. I did ask can I please have a receipt document saying what I had shown you about the room issues and management number. He said could not give any receipt and very reluctantly, gave me a sticky note with name number front desk.1hr out of the way able to get another room. So 100 more also run by same manager. Cerk had businesses cards and stated here is management card I'll also leave a message to call you. Myself and Expedia have emailed called no response, more than a week!
