Chenies Manor

My stay was on the 7th September, 2026 and it would appear that the hotel is undergoing a renovation, which looks quite nice internally and the new fixtures and fittings, such as sinks, showers, decor etc, look as if they have had some money spent on them. A sympathetic renovation to maybe what it looked like originally. The outside was also being renovated and unfortunately for me, this meant I had a scaffolding level right outside with workmen frequently walking past my window. Even with the blind shut, it didn't fully stop a view of some kind into my room, so if you are staying there soon after me and this is an issue for you, then please request a room without scaffolding outside. I kinda wish the hotel would just make the decision not to let out the room until the work is finished. It should also be reinforced, that this is an old building and there isn't a lift, so you need to be fit enough to carry your own luggage up some quite narrow and windy staircases. Wifi worked well for me. The bathroom on the 4th floor was new and clean. There is a small vending machine, but it looked as if it only took cash. Very close to Paddington station (Bakerloo tube, Heathrow Express etc.)

Great location, great price, safe, and an amazing breakfast— even lactose free milk at the buffet!! How considerate!! Everything was what you want in a hotel

As inspected first class service, the location was great. The staff was outstanding. I recommended.
