"After check-in we waited for over 2 hours for our room to be available. Front desk promised to update us on progress with our rom - but they did not. It was after 5pm when our room was ready. This hotel is described as a luxury hotel but it is not and should not be listed as a 'Small Luxury Hotel' of the world. The rooms are very small and basic, the breakfast is poor quality with staff who are not attentive, many items empty and not replenished and staff who seemed oblivious to guests needs. The exception was the evening restaurant staff who were excellent. Other guests were complaining. We will not be returning."

"One of best places I have stayed in — will highly recommend to friends and family. The place is serene, staff is very accommodating, spa is very relaxing, the facilities and food are outstanding!! A great place to pick as a base for visiting all the chateaus in the area and come back to relax at this property!! Wish we stayed longer but we will definitely be back!"

"The staff is nice. The room is nice but no coffee machine in room or bath robes. They had coffee in the main area for tours and told us we could not have any. The restaurant was nice and staff was attentive. We didn't get breakfast too expensive. The hotel should have a shuttle to town it's too far you need a car. This hotel if they don't provide a coffee machine in the rooms they should offer it in the main area."
