Rustic setting is serene. Bring your Pets!
Cabin includes outdoor BBQ, picnic table, fire pit! Cabin interior beautiful unique handcrafted cabinets, fully stocked kitchen appliances and dinnerware. Free coffee with single brew keurig. Linens provided, sheets, towels, pillows, blankets. Fully stocked bathrooms includes toilet paper, bath soap/shampoos, conditioner, blow drier like home away from home. Full AC and heat temperature controlled. Handicap rails in shower.
FREE USE of 4 beach tags for Long Beach island 22 miles by car free parking in summer!
Hiking / Kyacking: check out Mick’s canoe trips and / or Pinelands Adventures for nearby trips through the pines. (Reservations directly through company,) we are located in prime hiking area: Also enjoy fishing, kayaking or canoeing! 🛶

We had such a wonderful stay at the Quiet Cabin with our Dixie Dog. Jim greeted us with the warmest smile — truly such a kind and humble man. The cabin itself was adorable, and the little squeak of the wooden screen door instantly brought me back to childhood. So nostalgic and quaint. We were blown away by the thoughtful touches: the fridge stocked with fresh farm eggs, blueberry muffins, chocolate kisses, and even a bottle of wine and a steak for dinner. Jim always made sure we had enough food. It made the stay feel extra special. The property is absolutely beautiful — quiet, serene, and surrounded by nature. Our dog Dixie had the time of her life and didn’t want to leave! I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful, restorative getaway. Thank you, Jim and Effie, for such a lovely experience.

The cabin was well stocked - a dozen fresh eggs from the property, a huge box of fresh muffins. Property owner and host Jim went above and beyond to make sure our family had an amazing experience. We have already booked another weekend and can't wait to see him again.

Our host was friendly, informative and helpful. We will definitely be back. So many amenities in included that we were not expecting. Not only shampoo and conditioner but coffee and more. They thought of everything. We used the propane grill for lunch, the fire pit at night and they were so gracious to even provide firewood. Steps away from off roading and hiking trails (we did both) but close enough for a quick run to the store this property was perfectly placed. Pet friendly with an enclosed back yard our Husky was right at home. Thank you Jim for a great weekend. We appreciate your down to earth demeanor and beautiful property with all the little extras you put into it like the lighting in the gazebo and the amazing quality pots pans and dishes provided. They made the stay that much nicer.

Jim was the nicest host you could ever ask for. He has everything you could need for your stay. Just need clothes and food. The cabin was perfect for myself, husband and sister in law. We also had our 3 puppies with us. Very quiet location. The yard had gas and charcoal grills plus all the utensils you could need. Jim has the cabin stocked with coffee and tea. He had fresh blueberry muffins and hershey kisses in fridge for us. Plus ice and ice cream in freezer for dessertWe will definitely be back. We found our new cabin for our camping needs.

Jim greeted us as soon as we arrived. He gave us a tour and made sure we were familiar with everything. Wonderful grounds and wooded trails that can even be enjoyed at night. We had a fire in the fire pit every night! The cabin was cozy and comfortable. We will return in the future to unplug and unwind. Great stay!!

I stayed last weekend with my son and his friend at The Quiet Cabin and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay! We were coming into town for a soccer tournament and wanted something different than a hotel. We were pleasantly surprised at how welcoming the hosts were and we were even greated with a pizza of our choice as we were coming in late. What a wonderful gesture and such a huge help for a mom who had just driven 6 hours to get to our destination. Every time I called or texted they got right back to me and were willing to always go above and betond for us. The Quiet Cabin is adorable and has EVERYTHING! The beds were very comfy and coffee was delicious. Jim and Effie live on a farm and the Quiet cabin is right at the front of the farm and we were gifted with endless eggs from their chickens and ice cream in the freezer for the boys. We would definetely stay here again if we find ourselves back for soccer! Thank you Jim and Effie! You made a very stressful weekend wonderful! What a great experience at your cabin!

The cabin is right in the heart of the Pine Barrens. It was perfect for us! We sat around the fire at night and had coffee on the porch in the morning. We had total privacy and didnt see another soul after we checked in. The cabin is equipped with everything you could possible need. Same with the grill situation - there are propane and charcoal grills and all supplies are there. Kitchen is well stocked. Even the pull-out bed was super comfortable for 2 of us. Jim and Effie are the kindest, most down to earth people. Such a comfortable place to relax. Thanks for everything!! Cant wait to stay again

Great rustic getaway

It's the little things that put this over the top. Jim left us lots of water, Hershey's kisses, and blueberry muffins. He's very hospitable and gave us a full tour of the property when we arrived. We stayed for a long weekend. We took advantage of the fire pit one night. It was nice commutable distance to LBI, about 45 minutes at peak traffic (and he had beach badges for us to use). Also very close to Brendan Byrne State Forest, where we did some hiking. The Murphy bed was nice and had a good mattress. It fits one adult or 2 small children. Pull out couch was queen bed size (tip: use a flat sheet on the bottom as a fitted sheet won't fit over the ottoman side). All in all a very nice place to getaway in close proximity to the woods and the beach.

Summer fun

Are stay was relaxing but fun.We went kayaking 2 times and Jim went above & beyond to make sure we made it out to the lake. Thank you Jim!! We took walks and a short swim in the pond. Grilled dinner every night, and had a campfire.Sitting on the porch in the quiet and watching birds for hours was really nice

The cabin perfectly walks the line between nature immersion vs. modern comfort. What a beautiful property, and how lucky we are to have enjoyed it for the second time. Plus, now Jim has cute kittens that our sons loved playing with! We will be back.

Incredible gem in the heart of the Pines

My dog Daisy and I stayed for a week in June and had an amazing time. Jim and Effie provide everything you need, and the pines provide the rest. Despite us visiting in the middle of Summer, the flies, ticks, and mosquitos were not a problem when applying bug spray and plenty is available for you to use, along with lots of citronella candles and other mitigations. We had a blast swimming in the pond and on the surrounding beach and exploring the surrounding field and forest. I was even able to host a party of over 20 people camping and partying around the cabin, we all had an absolute blast. Already planning our next trip back, we can't wait!

A beautiful weekend!

The cabin was beautiful and very clean, Jim was amazing, he greeted us and made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. The place and town was very peaceful, we are planning to go back for my birthday in a couple of months,however we loved the scenery and surroundings so much that we fully intend to purchase land and make it our new home.Thank you so much again Jim and Effie for sharing your amazing place with others,which allowed us to have such a beautiful experience. Serenity

Loved our stay at the quiet cabin! We live in a bustling city and wanted to some peace and quiet and boy did we receive that! The property is beautiful, clean and great outdoorsy space. We made fires each night, grilled our food, and enjoyed the outdoor lights. We were equally grateful for the fan outside in the gazebo since May got quite warm during the day. We would be thrilled to come back and stay again.
