Further down the coastline is the fishing village of Craster, famous for its kippers, and just a short walk along the coastal path from the ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle.
A few miles inland is the bustling market town of Alnwick, with its own dramatic castle and a film location for Harry Potter films. Visitors will enjoy a trip to Alnwick Garden, a spectacular garden including the grand waterfall, and where you can also dine within Europe’s largest tree house!
