"We recently stayed at a beautiful VRBO rental in Chatham, MA, and had a fantastic experience. The property is perfectly situated right on an inlet—offering serene views and direct access to the tidal river. Waking up each morning to the soft sounds of the water and enjoy the evenings in the hot tub made this stay feel like a true escape.The house itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing week. The decor struck a nice balance between classic Cape Cod charm and modern amenities. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking at home, and the outdoor deck was perfect for dining al fresco with a water view.One of the highlights was being able to kayak and canoeing right from the backyard. It was so convenient and added an extra layer of fun to our trip. The location was also ideal—just a short drive to downtown Chatham with its lovely shops, restaurants, and beaches, but tucked away enough to feel private and peaceful.Our Labrador loved exploring the nearby trails, especially the Barclay's Pond trail, where she could enjoy peaceful walks and refreshing swims.The hosts were friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with, making the check-in process completely seamless. We even had the pleasure of meeting our host, Natalie, by chance at Jackknife Beach.If you're looking for a quiet, scenic spot to unwind while still being close to all that Chatham has to offer, this rental is a gem.
