"Our family had a wonderful week-long stay at Villa Mas des Oliviers. All of the outdoor space was incredible -- two places to cook and eat al fresco, beautiful pool, brand new hammam/sauna. My kids (ages 6 and 10) had plenty to do with the trampoline, soccer, and archery, and the adults enjoyed the spa and pool. The location is very central to many beautiful spots including Gordon and Valbonne. We hope to be back!"

"The aparthotel was in a great location for trains, trams, buses aswell as Nice old town and beach. The staff were extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. The 2 bedroom apartment was great and well equipped for a long stay. The decor was a little in need of updating but this did not distract from it being a brilliant place to stay. "

"This place is perfect for a certain type of folks. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated its affordability. Not much A/C and comfortable with no frills, except for the great pool area. "We chose this apartment hotel for its proximity to the Nice-Ville train station and points of interest in Nice within walking distance. We were met at the front desk by Akhmed, our multilingual, hospitable host. The other two men who managed and supervised the hotel were clearly active in fixing problems and meeting the needs of the guests. There is an elevator. "I almost dropped a star for this reason, but changed my mind as the staff and cleanliness of the hotel made up for it. I was extremely frustrated that there was no way to get a hold of the hotel to arrange for shuttle service. The number we had didn't go through, no clear contact info on website, We called expedia and they seemed unable to help as well. One reason we picked this hotel was because we wanted the convenience of being near the airport and the shuttle as we were flying back to the states the next morning. We were exhausted from our delayed flight to Nice and then in addition to that it took almost an hour of trying different ways to reach the hotel. By then the sun had set and our one night we were excited about spending in Nice felt ruined. Our driver was very kind once we finally connected and explained they were having issues with their phone, so it may have been out of their control. The staff from drivers, to reception to waitstaff were all excellent and the room was very clean with a comfortable bed. The dinner was very good. We would stay there again, but maybe just get a cab from the airport next time. "

"Iconic hotel in a great location. We enjoyed our room on the sixth floor although the bathroom was too small and the closet was tiny Service throughout the hotel was excellent although housekeeping was inconsistent. They routinely forget to replace coffee cups, teabags, etc. Not what you'd expect for over $1,100 a night. Overall though the Martinez is highly recommended."
