"We stayed for 6 weeks with our 2 small dogs. The garden was large and fully fenced, but not entirely secure for small dogs who could get under the gates. Bigger dogs would be fine. The house is all on one level, with a modern bathroom, two comfortable double bedrooms and an open plan lounge, kitchen/diner with log burner.Ideally situated in a small village with easy access to all the beautiful sites nearby. Fantastic restsurant in the village."

"What a breathtaking property. From the moment you walk through the big green gate, it’s an incredible place. We were a mixed group 20, friends and family, ranging from 0-50 years old. The property itself is filled with history but with lovely little modern twists, mainly the kitchen and bathrooms. It’s not obvious from the photos but there is also a large barn with a table tennis table in which was a nice hub for socialising. The pool is large and fenced off to stop any children accidentally falling in. The hosts stayed on the site however in a separate building. It was lovely having them there if we needed anything and they gave us lots of little tips but did not invade on our privacy. They made every effort to make us feel at home. The local Sunday market they recommended was a true gem.Also were 2 beautiful dogs on the property, very friendly and big hits with our group. Although the property is very close to the airport, would highly recommend renting cars as taxis were slow and expensive. "

"We had a lovely stay at Villa Nature whilst in the area for a family wedding. Chris was incredibly welcoming, the house was perfect and the pool was a welcome cure for the after party hangover!Close enough to shops/restaurants to be able to eat out conveniently, but far enough away to feel remote and quiet. "

"We have just returned from staying here, the photos really don't do it justice, it is beautiful and so peaceful. The pool made our holiday and even on a hot day it didn't get too hot in there as you can open all the doors. The kids loved an evening swim with the disco lights on and music. The pool table was a brilliant addition as was the table tennis. Ideally situated for day trips, Bergerac was only 25 mins away. We found we had to pre book tables at local restaurants as they do get very busy. Thierry and Martine were lovely hosts, on hand to contact if you needed them and very quick to respond to any queries but left you to enjoy your holiday in the most beautiful surroundings."

"What a very clean and well serviced gite with all essential items in a very nice quiet village with restaurants & shops in walking distance.we enjoyed the area and found good cycling routes. We especially like the canal path ride to Lalinde only 2.7km which had very good restirants. Madam Anne was very accommodating and helpful. We will definitely book this gite again if its available if we come to this area again.Fantastic holiday, John & Helen."

"We had a wonderful stay in Monsac. It's a charming little village, which is ideally located near the Dordogne river. It's not far from Bergerac and there are plenty of villages and towns to visit in the area, with markets almost every day. The house is good size, and welcoming. It has a very traditional and rustic French feel, so quite typical of the region. The garden is very attractive and peaceful. The property managers were wonderful with communication throughout our stay, and we'd like to thank them for a fantastic holiday!"
