Waterfront Cabin with Private Launch

Our Maximum Guest policy is very rigid to preserve and protect the property.


This 1990 cabin was completely renovated in the spring of 2018. The brand new kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and all the cookware needed for a fabulous meal.
There are 2 private queen bedrooms, 1 on each level. The loft area has both a twin and a queen. There are two additional inflatable mattresses.
The home has two full baths and a washer and dryer.
As great as the inside of the home is, the main attraction is the large porch facing the lake and the brand new dock. If you are traveling with your own boat, the home has its own private launch. And when you have had your fill of boating, relax on the dock or play a game of horseshoes.

Lake Norman Vacation

Property was very nice as expected. Cozy and perfect for a family of four with plenty of room for a few more guest. Located near the end of a channel off Lake Norman it was very quiet. The property also had a boat launch which worked out very well, and the dock was perfect for our boat. We would most definitely book here again should we vacation on Lake Norman again in the future.

Absolutely Wonderful Getaway

We had a wonderful lake getaway with our family and dogs. This cabin was clean, has a very well stocked and beautiful kitchen, and the most relaxing back porch to sip coffee and enjoy the lake views. Our dogs had a BLAST being able to swim! The owner was quick and easy to chat with when we wanted to extend our trip. We will definitely be back!

Excellent Family Vacation at the Cozy Cabin

We loved our stay at the “Cozy Cabin” on Lake Norman in Mooresville, NC. We brought our 21-foot boat and used it on the lake the whole week. First, the ramp is easy to access and load/unload your boat. Second, the dock at the cabin is brand new, so our boat was secure. We loved so many features about the house, the dock, and the lake. Our kids loved fishing off the dock, kayaking, and paddleboarding all around the cove. The cabin had two kayaks on the property, and we also brought two paddleboards and our lake mat that we tied to the dock. We went out on the lake for several days in a row tubing, water skiing, and wakeboarding. The house was very well stocked with kitchen items, beach towels, and bath towels. We cooked a little bit, because we mostly went to this great little restaurant and bar less than a mile away called the “Lake Norman Tavern”. We had fun eating, drinking, playing pool, and playing corn-hole there. It was kid-friendly, so that was nice. The food was surprisingly good too. Would we rent this place again? Definitely.

Best cabin on the lake!

A fantastic spot on the lake. We love the renovated house. The porch is great to sit on with nice fans for a breeze. We brought a boat with us which we were able to back in the lake ourselves with the ramp on the property. Is it 18 ft fishing boats with a standard with trailer and I was able to use their ramp fine. The doc is in fantastic condition and has been clearly updated. We really enjoyed being able to go out on the lake every day on the boat and come back to a cool and comfortable house. We were even able to practice yoga on the Loft upstairs. It was awesome I was having two full bathrooms to get ready in simultaneously. The open kitchen is beautiful and was easy to make meals in. We even enjoyed some music on the record player! I highly recommend for a beautiful quiet place to stay that's far back in a bay but if you have a boat to bring with you this is a spot you want to be at. Thank you to the hosts for taking such great care of this place and allowing us to stay there. Thank you

Thanksgiving gathering

The home met our needs. We enjoyed sitting on the sunny back porch looking over the lake. Even though it was chilly the sun warmed the porch much of the day. There are 2 ocean kayaks at the house. My husband and son took them out and got fairly wet. The lake level was low so we were unable to rent a pontoon boat. The location to Charlotte was about a 40 minute drive. The location of the house is surrounded by upscale homes. The road was not too busy this time of year. We cooked most meals at the house. Electric stove and oven. I would bring your own frying pan. I bought a set at Target for morning eggs. Pots were worn as well. Happens over time. The house had good water pressure and the water got hot quickly. I liked the open space kitchen / LV together.

Not a good experience

The house is not clean. When you charge a cleaning fee you expect it to be. Tons of cubb webs, stains on carpets, stains on furniture, layers of dust on fans, and an old squeaky bed in the master bedroom, made it impossible to sleep with every single turn. We asked the host about the Hot Tub on his listing he said he never had a Hot Tub on his listing which was a lie. Since we complained to him they removed it from the listing. Hot Tub was an attractive feature for us and our grandkids. The grill was rotted and greasy and dirty, so we end up buying a portable grill. The toilet seat in the ground floor bathroom is disgusting. Tons of flies even with the closed doors, some kind of fly trap should have been provided. When I lifted the kitchen garbage pan to change the bag, it was so filthy with food and pistachio shells around it. My wife did a lot of cleaning and all the supplies were locked so had to purchase my own. On a positive note, The property on the lake is perfect, the location, the backyard with grass, the fire Pitt, We reached out to the host of this property to discuss all these issues before reporting the complaint to VRBO. HE WAS RUDE, AND UNPROFESSIONAL AND SHOULD NOT BE IN THE HOSPITALITY BUSINESS. His Response to me was” After 12 days now you are complaining and trying to get money out of me? “Incredibly rude. Would be impossible for us to find a compatible waterfront property with 2 dogs in a day

Cozy Cabin for the holidays

Love this cabin and enjoyed the peaceful water access out front! Very clean. Kitchen well stocked. Enjoyed the open concept. Easy to find and quick access to grocery stores, restaurants and movie theater. We will definitely be back!
