Everything was exactly how it was described. Great great location for easy walking. There was even a Target near by. We bought muffins and enjoyed a quick breakfast on the porch before checkout. I had communication the entire time with the property. Excellent stay.
This is a charming property in a prime location for walking, shopping and enjoying the beauty of Charleston. We were first-timers to the city. The property was exactly as described and the owners were quick to communicate with any questions we had. We will be back!

Location, location, location. In the heart of downtown Charleston, but you still did not feel like you were in the inner city. Great communication between owner and guests.
My husband and I enjoyed the place, there were only two of us, but the place had two good sized bedrooms with a bath in between. It is located directly between King and Meeting streets about three blocks north of the market, in a Charleston Single house, second floor. Parking is included which is a definite plus!
Rented place for its location as it was walking distance to a lot of things. The parking spot was tight and the plumbing in the bathroom could use an update as the hot water in the tub was limited and tricky to get to work. Everything else was great and overall good value for summer rental.
Cosy and great location, Felt very authentic to Charleston
It was a great location. The beds comfy and everything clean. It felt like a safe area. There are a couple of things just FYI and suggestions for management that could make the stay even better. The refrigerator is a tiny cube holding less than a beach cooler. It would be nice to have ice in the rooms. It would be an inexpensive upgrade to change it out to a dorm room size similar to hotels. The Keurig didn't work. So I was missing the availability of ice and coffee in my room that're available at every hotel. The small round table by one of the beds had a leg broken and it was just propped up.
Property is ideal for location. The management was on top of things and easy to deal with when needed. The facility itself was lacking for us. It is very small and hard to get comfortable when there unless on porch or on the beds. It would be ideal if a small “kitchen” type room were added to move the refrigerator out of the bedroom closet, sink to wash out any dishes used (instead of the bathroom sink) and coffee could be located out of the bedroom. In addition, an ice maker needs to be added or somewhere on the property. Hard to enjoy cocktails or any drink on the porch without getting ice each day as there is no where to keep the ice. However, Charleston is fabulous and we would consider another part of this VRBO, just not C.
Historical accommodations that have all the modern conveniences. Walking around the beautiful downtown area and exploring the eateries. Quiet inside with calm decor. Looking forward to staying again next time in Charleston
Overall the stay was great. Located within walking distance to everything and very quiet, even with other guests in and out over the weekend. Parking was a little tough, but the rental company gave us a larger car then planned.
Perfect location to be based, so close to most of our favorite spots in Charleston. Property manager was very prompt with any requests or communication with them.
Charming Property & Great Location middle of King Street!
My best girlfriend and I had the best time for a one night quick getaway for our birthdays! We came to Charleston to shop, eat, and celebrate! This location was so perfect because it was only one block off of King Street and it was right in the middle so we could go up one way, shop and drop our bags off, and then do the same in the other direction! It was very clean and the communication was amazing. Will definitely be returning to this charming, second floor apartment!
Our stay was very nice with the exception of the parking...if you drive a full-size vehicle beware...the alley is very narrow and turning around is difficult. The location is perfect for seeing most everything that's downtown.
Great location! Tight quarters in bathroom and could use another mirror besides the bathroom so two people could get ready at the same time. We did not have any hot water the first morning and had a cold shower but that was repaired asap. Great communication. Sweetest location. Walkable to everything and a half of a block off of King.
Charming historic property. Very small. Comfortable beds and pillows. Old claw foot tub/shower hard to get in and out of and low water pressure. Overall nice stay.
I was expecting a sitting area or at least chairs in the rooms. It stayed 80 to 82 in the afternoons when we desired to relax and never got comfortable until the middle of the night The hot water varied from hot to freezing cold.Kitchenette was a tiny spot in the hall and it has a Keurig not drip as advertised. We were very disappointed as this was a graduation gift for our daughter.

I came to Charleston for work. The day I arrived the Internet did not work. It took several hours for that to be fixed. That would not have been a major complaint if not for the next day there was no hot water. Due to work obligations I was unable to contact the host until later that evening. The problem was not resolved until nearly 11pm. At this point I saw no reason to report the heat/AC was not working correctly. However, the temperature was overall fine due to nice weather. For the expense of the stay I would expect a much better experience. If only one of these things occurred I would understand things happen but to have problems each day was beyond frustrating.
