Fabulous house, exactly as advertised! Right on the beach and we could hear the waves breaking night and day. Our stay inadvertently coincided with a full moon, which we took full advantage of the full moon. We watched the moonrise every night as well as the sunset from the amazing rooftop area. Very peaceful there. Kitchen was we stocked and the place was very clean with comfortable beds. Thanks!

The home is stunning. Awesome beach vibe with views to die for! The rooftop deck is simply incredible. The home is stocked very well and has anything you can think of in the kitchen and even a countertop ice maker. The beds were super comfy and so was the couch, which is what I want in a relaxing beach house! Couple of challenges during our stay - the door lock didn’t work but a new lock was promptly installed! Our HVAC wouldn’t cool the main floor (during a heat advisory!) but the property manager, again, had someone there to fix the unit quickly. The property manager, Matt, was very responsive and nice to deal with, which was very nice. Note - this home is right beside the public access and parking so be mindful of that. We knew that going in, so that wasn’t a surprise. Overall a well maintained, wonderful home, with incredible views and everything you would need or want for your stay.

Living at the beach at its best

The house was comfortable, beautiful, and well-supplied with seating for everyone in every gathering area. The wall decor was attention attracting, a mix of beach life and quiet thought-provocation pieces. One of the nicest features was a porch that was shaded all day since it faced the south. Family members loving being outside but not loving the sun could be outside to their heart's content. We loved this beach home.

Great beach house

We were in town for a long weekend and this house was the perfect spot for our family of 8 adults. Everyone had their own space. The outdoor space is great and where we spent most of our time. The beach access was our favorite thing. It was so easy to go down and spend time at the beach during the day. I would stay here again.

Fabulous BD celebration at 4 Summer Pl

Lovely home with amazing views. We had to call for a patio ceiling flapping in the wind and Liam came right over to fix it. Great service.

Amazing place and Views!!!

We had a fun filled relaxing weekend with our family at this place. Well kept and everything is just the right size for a family vacation. Views were just amazing! Dolphin sightings from the balcony. Just superb!

Great beach vacation!

The home is wonderful, views are incredible, beach is lovely. Perfect stay for our group of 5 adults and 5 kids. We all had plenty of space! A great time had by all. Highly recommend.

Views everywhere!

The house is gorgeous and the views are amazing! It has two masters with amazing views. The house is well stocked with kitchen amenities and bath towels. The beach is so very close! It’s pretty shallow so great for kids and super warm in August. It’s a 20 year old house and you’ll see some normal wear and tear from the elements. We notified housekeeping as there was mold in the master bath as the fan wasn’t working; they were fantastic and sent someone immediately. Also, there is a public beach access right next to the property so there were more people than I expected, but certainly not crowded. My boys walked to the inlet by the lighthouse and fished every day. There are a few cute restaurants in town which is approx 3-3.5 miles away. We tried Rita’s which was amazing (try the nachos!).

November Beaching

The house was in great shape and had everything we needed. It was clean throughout. The views are spectacular, especially from the top deck. It seems like the highest point for miles and you can catch sunrises, sunsets, and lots of stars. It’s proximity to the beach made it easy for the kids to get there and enjoy it. They are building a new house immediately adjacent to the east that may make things different depending upon how high they build. We had a great time!

Family vacation

Lots of stairs! Great views. Private, quiet beach. We had a bug problem in one of the rooms and property management took care of it within a couple hours. We were pleased with the service.

We just returned from 5 days at 4 Summer Place with our family of 7 adults and a two year old. The house was everything it advertised. I loved the layout with the bedrooms on separate floors. Alot of stairs but i believe that enhanced the experience as there is an ocean view from "every" window in this house. We visited off season and Folly Beach was very quiet. the house is at the end of the beach so very private and the views were amazing. To sit on the 2nd floor deck and watch the sun rise and set was beautiful!! We also spotted a few dolphins playing in the afternoon sun. Our plan was to cook in, which we did all but one night and the kitchen was adequately stocked with pans, utensils etc. After a quick inventory we ran into Publix for our groceries. Downtown Folly Beach and the Pier are not particularly walkable from 4 Summer Place but a must see. Fun beach shops, bars and restaurants- we would love to come back and i think we will plan it again in the off-season.

Great stay!!

Loved how we could walk to the Morris island lighthouse by beach or street. Loved the rooms and decorations. Very cozy. The only think I would change is it says stocked kitchen. The last Vrbo I stayed in that said that had stocked condiments, some snacks and drinks, trash bags and such. Even some things in the bathroom such as shampoo and such. Laundry detergent. There wasn’t even salt and pepper. We literally had driven all day and had nothing. Wish there was access to some of the beach toys also. I left a baby pool so hopefully it will come in handy for someone else. Beautiful home and would totally stay again! Very convenient and steps from ocean.

4 Summer Place House review

We absolutely loved the house. Best views on Folly. We only wished there were better chairs--the rocking seemed more for mountain cabin than beach. And would have loved chairs on the rooftop--sincerely the most beautiful views. We did have problems with the freezer/ice maker. We also felt the outdoor shower wasn't as functional as it just fills up with sand. We felt like maybe an outdoor hose would have worked better and maybe we wouldn't have tracked in so much sand (we had to vacuum a couple of times). And would it be possible to use the elevator? We have lined up the house again for next year and are very excited about it but we have 2 elderly people with us and that would be a huge help when loading in and out (if the owner would consider that). Thank you so much for a lovely beach experience! We love Folly!
