Hotel Casa Blanca Ajijic

2/10 Terrible

"It was a horrible experience at this hotel/bed and breakfast. If you want to stay in an old Mexico hacienda with everything else following that pattern, then stay at your own risk. First off, the road is being worked on so be aware that you will not be dropped off at the property. It’s hard for me to believe this hotel has gotten such great remarks. The rooms are muggy and filled with oversized furniture. We found several bugs in the room and one on the bed. Luckily for us we had a unit with air-conditioning. We were very happy that worked. Don’t stay anywhere that doesn’t have ac in the town. The bed in the room is the worst we have ever slept on. I don’t think it’s been replaced in about 20-25 years. The towels smelled horrible. The mini-refrigerator in the room did not work (did not cool). The breakfast is very minimal at best and was not appetizing. It was a really bad experience and we cut our two night reservation in half and left early. We asked for a refund and/or at least a partial one however the hotel would not honor that."

"Very nice place by the lake. On site restaurant is good and convenient but you really should go out and explore. There are couple billiards tables by the lobby and there are some pickleball courts on the property as well. Staff was very friendly especially the manager in the Sunday buffet."

"Me gustó que el personal era muy amable, el lugar en los jardines se ve muy bonito, al entrar al cuarto se veía bonits la cama , suave pero necesita más atención, en el baño no sabía cuál era el agua caliente y fría , se escuchó un ruido feo al abrir la llave de la regadera al abrirla de más se salió la manija , los gabinetes están deteriorados del baño,"
