"We chose this hotel because we wanted to stay in a French château. The facilities and equipment are old, but since the plumbing and other essentials have been properly renovated, that part was reassuring. Overall, however, it does feel rather dated, and if you are accustomed to modern-style hotels, you might find it a bit unsatisfying in terms of comfort. Having air conditioning was a great relief, especially since we stayed in the summer. That said, the experience of staying in a French château itself has great value. We were able to see horses, chickens, and dogs freely roaming around, and for those who want to fully enjoy nature, I can certainly recommend it."
